Hi there, my name is Chih Chen. I'm 23 years old now and I'm trying to get some advice as to going back to getting healthy again. I haven't gone back to working out for 2-3 years now. My max weight was 185 about 3 years ago and I use to exercise consistantly for 4 times a week for 2 years and I am 6 ft tall. Now, however, I am quite a skinny guy, I am 140 pounds now at this height and have been smoking avg 15 cigs a day and been smoking for 3 years as well. Some might read this as a testamony, but in reality, I've suffered a lot socially and mentally. However, I think it's time to start picking things up again, but one thing I'm really struggling with is eating. I seem to have lost a great deal of appetite for food. I manage to get my 3 meals a day in, but it's always so hard to sink the food in as my mental state is not there for bulking up. I think it's possibly due to me being so unhealthy these few years and has effected biologically my eating habits and most of the time, I can't even finish my plate of food. Any suggestions about what I should do? As far as exercisng goes, I'm renewing my membership at Gold's gym at the start of next month, but like I said, it's just hard to eat and maybe I'm mentally and biologically not there to bulk up.
