how can roids be detected for months down the roid even if u stop? i dont understand how it can stay in your body or how they can detect it so many months later. how is that possible?

I would assume, without knowing the absolute fact, that the substance you take is stored inside your organs such as your liver and are slowly released.
some could be stored in body fat or muscle also i suppose.
after steroids have been used at the receptor site, they are released and either 1.) move on and are used again at another site or 2.) are deactivated and turned into a non active molecule, a metabolite...these metabolites can circulate in the blood stream for however long the half life is on the chemcial, being that your body has deactivated it and cannot use it,the chemical is free to wander around for however long it takes for your body to either remove it or have it biodegrade, thus they can test for the metabolites via blood, urine, and i think even hair...hope this helps a bit
