Thread: Need to know how to keep this transformation going!

Exclamation Need to know how to keep this transformation going!

I took some time off of juice and training and dropped from my normal 210 to a softer 190 because of life and work issues. Now I always ran loooong cycles almost never coming off so I was surprised how well my body stayed in shape considering I stopped eating right, working out and juicing after a couple years on.

Now I have been back in for about 5 months and have added about 40 pounds LBM and am sitting around 222. I would really like to get up to 230 then come off with a nice mgf/igf bridge and see if I can hold 220. The problem I am having is INJURIES

My left tricep tendon got hurt the other day doing reverse tricep extensions, my left bicep tendon has been hurting for almost 2 months from how strong my back has gotten and my left shoulder hurts bad on chest unless I keep things light and strict. Right now I am stuck in a BAD place because coming off and not working out would be horrible, staying on till I heal would probably kill my goal of 230 and working through it is getting harder and harder. Does anyone have any tips to get through nagging pains? My plans are to try to stay close to 15 reps and hopefull heal while shocking my body with a different workout.

Even if no one can help at least I got to vent

Damn bro, sounds like you're body's telling you it's time for a rest. I know you don't want to hear that. Maybe a TRT dose of test with a HRT dose of deca will help preserve muscle mass while you're taking some time off IMO.

tendons don't heal if you don't give them rest

Thats a nice option I hadn't thought of but most likely I'd just lower the test and EQ - It sucks stopping EQ once it finally picks up steam.

Do you think using my IGF as chose to the site as I can get would be a good idea to speed it up?

tendons love IGF, but rest is important too

I just can't imagine shooting into my bicep tendon just to the outside of where they do an IV or into my tricep basically in the elbow. The elbow just happened and hurt the most, the bicep can be worked around by going lighter and using closer grips (not that bad because its a change, staying on the positive side) and the shoulder is managable with cissus I think.

Maybe lower dose with frequent sub q low dose IGF and some rest.

end ur cycle, train as hard as u can yet if that is light u will still keep that muscle active.i personally can maintain my size with lower weights as long as i keep that muscle active and busy.with proper pct, diet and training u should be able to maintain most of ur gains. staying on too long just isnt wise IMO....

Ive been on for 3 years at one time before (mostly HRT dose or anavar alone) so being on isn't a concern of mine. The HRT dose with IGF is most likely because I just can't agree with ending a cycle while also resting from working out for an extended time when I am at an unaturally high weight.

Really just wondering if anyone had success with high reps and possibly frequent low dose sub q igf in the area of a tendon injury. Maybe like 10mcg per spot (2 spots) 3-4 times per day for 2 weeks?

when u say resting from working out, do u mean not training at all?if so id agree with u. i dont see how going light is the same as not training at all.sounds to me its all or nothing with the lifting for u. i see changing up ur routine as a + not a -, even if its with lower weights.

I agree with everyone, it sounds like you need to listen to your body and rest, it's a small price to pay to lose a bit of muscle mass while you recover. Long term injuries are a lot harder to get over and a lot more detrimental to your goals.

Man do I ever know that, I am already one shoulder surgery in and need my knee MRI'ed to see if I can ever do legs again. I friggin hate having weak connective tissue, it has plagued me since I was in little league.

How long after you started training again did you start your diet? If you just jumped right back into steroids the first day back in the gym you are just asking to get hurt. You need to train all natural for 2-3 months and let your body get back into the swing of things. Also I have noticed that muscles get strong allot faster than tendons and ligaments when you come back from time off. So with that and the aas making you strong fast, your muscles are probably extremely stronger than what your tendens and ligaments can handle.

Yeah I probably gave it 1.5-2 months max then was on tren and test then switched to 1-test and all are strength builders.

I am just wondering how when going reasonably light (12 reps) I tweeked my elbow tendon.

I am going to speak with grunt about some IGF treatment options and see if a 2 week rehab with cissus, igf and heat/massage could fix it all.

To put it in perspective, tried to bent over rows with 225 (nice and light for me) and around 11 reps the bicep tendon said no. Then I did V handle tight form cable rows and everything felt great. Next went to pulldowns and the tricep tendon SCREAMED so i stopped and tried to do a few bench pushups (girly with feet on ground hands on bench) and this was too much for the tricep but this injury is new and isnt super severe I can tell and think maybe the 2 week rest/recover may work but am still wating to work out a dosing protocol for this special purpose.

I think maybe you could try reposting this in the injury/ rehab forum to see if DOC.SUST would chime in he may have better workouts you could do to rehabilitate your injuries. Otherwise good luck injuries always suck.
