    Best Shot Ever!

    My New Fav Is Ventrogluteal For Sure. Ive Done Calves Alot And Like Them, And Thigh But This Is The Best Definetly Give It A Try. Didnt Feel Anything!

    Yep...cuz theres so much fat/muscle there 23g u barely feel a thing.

    The hardest thing is REACHING it by yourself lol

    I'll only be using 25 gauge, one inch. THink that would be sufficient?

    Reaching it? It's only on the side, just a few inches below the hip, right?

    I Only Put 1cc In It But I Could Tell It Can Handle Much More. I Kinda Just Did As Much Research As I Could But It Was Ultimately Finding The Spot Alone. I Just Place My Hand On My Side Like It Was A Gun And Between The Thumb And Forefinger Is The Soft Spot For It.

    Finding the site is relatively easy. If you understand anatomy this is way it is explained to nurses in school (U will just have to switch it around so that ur doing it on urself and not a patient, lol)...

    To establish the location, you place the heel of your right hand over the patient's left greater trochanter, or vice versa, and position your index finger on or toward the anterior superior iliac spine, then stretch your middle finger away from your index finger. The center of the triangle formed by your fingers and the iliac crest is your injection site.

    Based on the instructions on the nurse web page I would be scared I would hit a bone. Maybe I just not in the right spot but your pelis is right there

    Yea i want to start injecting here also (currently only rotating quads but scar tissue is building up and its a pain to pierce now) but im scared of hitting a bone also.
