Is it bad idea to run Clen whilst on Creatine?
What are the pro/cons if any
THanks.

creatine bloats you makes you fart - thats bout itOriginally Posted by JAY_WD
pro you gain water weight.... making you look bigger...
cons why are you wanting to look bigger when you are trying to cut...
I see no point.
Me personally, I do not like clen very much. It's not worth the sides honestly. I never saw much from it.
You should try to do one or the other. Don't try to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, it will be a very slow, disappointing process.
i don't see a problem with it at all.....the creatine will increase atp, in turn giving you more energy...putting water in the muscles, wich will help recovery, and i personally love clen, it's been great to me...i see no problem in doing it and in fact would do it myself
Will the creatine reduce the effectiveness of the clen and vice versa?
nope.Originally Posted by JAY_WD
can you elaborate alittle more about the increase of atp... and more water can be beneficial when compounding with clen...? i am not being rude... i really am curious..Originally Posted by takedownII
bump..
they will have no effect on eachother, but they will both be beneficial to you.....Originally Posted by JAY_WD
sure can brother.....these compounds will not work synergistically with eachother, clen will do it's thing and the creatine will do it's thing.can you elaborate alittle more about the increase of atp... and more water can be beneficial when compounding with clen...? i am not being rude... i really am curious..
creatine works like this:
The energy released from the reduction reaction of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) to ADP (Adenosine Diphosphate) fuels everything your muscles, as well as almost anything else in your body, do. Creatine is stored in the form of Creatine Phosphate in the body. When ATP looses one of it's phosphates in the reaction to create energy, creatine donates its phosphate to regenerate ATP so that it can break apart again to provide the muscles with energy.
ATP --> ADP + P + Energy
CrP + ADP --> Cr + ATP
This essentially means that you can perform at a high intensity rate for a longer period of time. In weightlifting, since one would be able to perform at a high intensity rate for a longer period of time, this would translate into an increase in reps. Therefore, theoretically, because you can do more reps during a workout, your workout will be more productive and a higher degree of protein synthesis (the building of muscle) will be stimulated. Also, creatine pulls extra water into the muscles and because of this it is theorized that this extra water can stimulate further protein synthesis. Mostly, however, the exact mechanisms and beneficial effects behind creatine supplementation are not fully understood. During sprinting, one would be able to hold their highest intensity rate for a longer period of time.....hope this helps...

Creatine bloats you and clen has a diuretic effect... so they'll be some tug-o-war going on there, and clen perhaps won't be as effective ... other than that, should be no problem
yea this is point that i was trying to get at....Originally Posted by InsaneInTheMembrane
from what i gather out of this also is that by higher rep count you would be burning more fat helping the fat loss process even though adding water to the equation..... intresting point... and thanks for the responce... i would not do this personally but I can see you point as to why you do...This essentially means that you can perform at a high intensity rate for a longer period of time. i take creatine ethyl ester while on clen i never get bloat from it either way. i find it helps me keep my strength up while cutting.
I know this is an old post but just wanted to see if there is any new info available to show that you can still benefit from creatine's slight muscle volumizing effects while taking advantage of Clen's fat burning properties without the two negatively interfering with each other.
