Thread: Sides After First Cycle

    Sides After First Cycle

I am curious to know if the side effects from steroid use are immediate once the user begins their first cycle.

Or, are the side effects more evident after the user has run multiple cycles?

I am only interested in running one cycle of test for 10 weeks but i may be prone to male pattern baldness so i need to know to what extent appoximately will my hair loss be if any.

sides can be immediate... what the sides are (gyno for example) and how quick they show up (if at all) really depends on the person, everyones different. Some people arent gyno prone so they could go a whole cycle without sides for the most part

What about others who are prone to male pattern baldness.

How was your hair during and after cycle?

Also, what is the best way to determine whether or not you are prone to male pattern baldness?

i havent run a cycle yet.... started a couple weeks ago and ended up being shitty gear, spent 5 days in the hospital with a serious infection... male pattern baldness can be controlled/helped with propecia (finastride) and nizoral shampoo.. MPB is more commonly increased with compounds like deca or a harsher compound

To check if your prone to MPB look to your mother side of the family. If they men on her side are bald, chances are very high that you will be too.

I have heard that finasteride or dutasteride can reduce gains.

    Is this true?

It's really minimal, not to the point where you wouldnt notice gains. I am prone to mpb and I'm taking finasteride. I took 1 every other day while on cycle and then when off everyday. I didnt lose any more than what was already lost.

Actually deca is one of the milder anabolics as far as hair loss, being only mildly androgenic. Though it should always be run with testosterone.

Dbol, anadrol, and other drugs that are DHT-derived (or at least similar to DHT) are what you really want to avoid. 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors like finasteride and dutasteride won't help you here, as they're already in their most androgenic state.

They prevent testosterone from converting to DHT. DHT is even more anabolic and androgenic than testosterone, so in theory, yes. But in actuality, I doubt there would be a noticeable loss of gains.

Skeletal muscle is unique from other androgen dependent tissues in the body. It actually contains little or no 5-AR, so little or no DHT is actually formed in the muscle. In addition to this, any DHT that is formed, or that is already present in the blood and travels to the muscle, is quickly deactivated by an enzyme called 3alpha-hydroxysteroid reductase.

So then it would probably be best to run Dutasteride maybe before, during and after cycle to combat against hair loss.

WHat is the best way to prevent gyno whilst taking Dutasteride?

As it is a DHT blocker, will it increases the chance of gyno and how would i combat this?

Also, which is a better DHT blocker, Dutasteride or Finasteride?

    Thanks
