bad injection: need to make a decision.

Had some bad injection on Monday of 11th week cycle. I'm thru with deca 1-10, now I'm left 2 wks to proceed with test only. After workout, however, my left thigh is kinda swollen and I'm getting a little fever and expecting to inject this Thursday to make my 11th week complete. The question is should do I postpone Thursday injection or proceed with it? Right my left thigh makes me walk like a cripple guy.

I would inject as planned. I am assuming your gear is not tainted because you went 11 weeks without probs right? Inject, but obviously not in your left thigh. There's many sites you can use. Hopefully that fever is either in your head or not very serious. Either way, hope you get better, and I would inject.

If your taking it in the other leg its not going to cause any more pain to the sore leg.


BTW Can you define what a "bad injection" is ?

You say you have a fever ?? Is the inject site swollen and red ?? Also is it hot to the touch?? These are signs of infection. If you experience these sides please go see a doc . Infections can be very serious so please keep an eye on it.

Yes, its a fever, high body temperature but at the same time I feel cold if u know what I mean?
No, it is not red but a little bit swollen. So far I have taking in some ipobrofen, that's all. I'm postponing My thursday injection to Friday (tomorro). Hope the pain will go away.

that's what I kept telling myself but its been day 4 and still swollen hasn't reduce. I did some squat and leg press yeasterday. Do u think that will increase the swelling effect?

If its infected it will be red and the red area will grow in size day by day......If you have a fever that doesnt sound good....I would just call your doc and ask for some antibiotics to be safe...good luck.....Ive been thru the infection route before and its not fun

If the pain and the swelling goes down with inflammatory, it's probably not infection but a reaction to the gear.

I guess I injected it too deep into the quad muscle. The injection went fine, but only after workout that I begun to feeel the pain from swelling effect. Any thoughts?

From what i gather, as everyone else has stated, i would watch for signs of infection (redness, swelling, fever).

Im not sure if you have an infection rather, your gear must be fine if you have been shooting it your entire cycle. Is there the possibility that you moved the pin inside your muscle when you were shooting?

Just trying to cover all the bases here, i would think if the symptoms of infection get any worse you should head to the doctor asap, and if not, you might have just had a bad injection, hitting a nerve perhaps or moving the pin inside your muscle, or simply shooting too much/ or too fast.

Does any of that sound like a possibility?

No redness, only fever and a lump of the site I injected. I think it is the test e that giveing me this situation. However I was doing both the test with deca , i had no such problem at all.

A freind of mine got an infection in his glut from an injection...... Doc said it was something really bad, and delayed treatment would result in removal of a large section of flesh and muscle. GO TO THE DOCTOR!

if the fever comes back, take some tylenol extra strength and it will keep the fever down and go see a doctor.. they will most likely give u levequin or something to try to get rid of the infection with antibiotics but i would get it checked out just to be on the safe side.. the longer u wait, the worse it can get..
