    Is this ventrogluteal site?

I have been trying to figure out this darn ventrogluteal site location. Some say, it's around your hip, some say, more in the buttocks top and outside corner.

I injected there on Sunday - 3cc. Went in smooth, no pain. Now it's tuesday and it's pretty sore down to the hip bone. Similar feeling when I shot prop before. This time, a mix of t.cyp and equip.

I'm thinking too much too soon or too fast injecting?

    Please confirm the site.

Just an observation. I can see few veins towards the top as in the pic, but I shot just above the veins.

    Thanks.

Here's a neat but shitty diagram for those who have trouble locating the spot:

It's simple. Just locate your greater trochander and your hip. Your target spot is between your hip and the trochander. It's basically the side of your ass.

Call me slow, I still have trouble locating the site. Is this the front of the person in the pic there?

So, what is the site I shot into? Appears to have lots of muscle and it sticks out a bit? As I said, was pretty smooth going in.

It should be more towards the rear. That's where I do it anyways. Here's a vid to help you:

I've seen that video few times as well, I've poked myself with my finger looking for spots for an hour or so. Still, that's the spot that I came up with.

Do we have any volunteers - in the name of science?
