to late to start deca??

hey bro, a buddy of mine is currently running test e. he is 4 weeks into his 14weeks cycle, 500mg test e per week broken down into two shots.
he is wondering if its too late to incorpriate deca 300mg per week???
help thnaks!!!

preferably deca would be run for 10 weeks and stopped 2 weeks before test is stopped.

Frontload it at 600 mg for the first 2 weeks then stop it at week 13
