Thread: bump at injection site question.

  1. #1

    bump at injection site question.

is it a bad sign if you still have a bump 6 to 7 days later. I read about people getting abcess drained and thing s like that. I dont have redness in the area. Its just sore and a nice lump of hardness. Should a doc visit be in order.

nah.. i have had knots last as long as 10-12 days..
depends on severity.. i mean if the shit is getting worse by the day (especially at the duration ur talking about) then might have issues.. but if its no worse than say a bee sting or wasp bight .. i wouldnt sweat it.

Yea bumps and lumps are part of the game ..

If the inject site is red / swollen , hot to the touch ( and possibly have a fever ) than its a concern..

Keep an eye on it !!

sometimes u will get one and not the next one, i have never had a good way to figure out when or why sometimes get a knot and other times none???
just one of those things u learn to live with but dont ignore it if it gets worse or especially if u see red streaks from it.

i've had knots and the area around the injection site felt really hard. this usually starts going away a few days after the shot. if things are getting better then thats a good sign. but if there's a raised lump or its red and you have a fever then you should see a doc.
