    Winny, lipids, and blood pressure?????

Okay, I've been posting a couple threads regarding my situation. Have gotten a lot of great feedback, and I really appreciate it. I have another question though. Assuming that it was the winny that jacked my lipids, hdl being low and ldl being high, would that change alone affect blood pressure? As I have stated, mine shot up about three weeks ago, and had to see dr. He put me on meds to bring it down and is checking to see why it is up. Have never had high bp before, actually always ran low. So again, I am curious if anyone know could the bp thing be directly related to lipids being out of wack and will return to normal when lipids do. Or is there no coorelation and just a crazy coincidence?

What else were you taking? Test will raise my blood pressure, actually anything that puts on water weight will raise your blood pressure. I think the cholesterol is more of a long term thing that will raise your blood pressure by hardening your arteries where as the water weight will put more of an instant contriction on them.

Eq also. As I mentioned, it was a stupid cycle. Started it based off of info from a friend, who obviously didn't know what the hell he was talking about!

I do not believe your bump in LDL cholesterol has anything to do with your elevation in BP, probably from the juice

bp increase is usually from water retention and increase in RBC's
