    Using VITEX Wrong?

    Are we using Vitex for the wrong purpose? I was reading about Vitex and everyone here says it is good at reducing prolactin, stopping breast milk production and secretion. But this quote is from a herbal shop online and it says:

    "Studies also indicate Vitex may be useful as a galactagogue, stimulating both production and secretion of breast milk."

    This sounds backwards from what has been posted here.
