    Considering my first "correct" cycle

I will try to keep this brief, but there is some background necessary. Several of you have heard a bit of my story, and I appreciate all the feed back and great advice. I , admittedly, did a *#@*ed up cycle a few months back. Listened to the wrong people-say no more. I did however run a good pct thanks to many peoples advice on this board! Have learned a ton since being on this board. I am looking at starting my "first" cycle in Dec.

    Stats: 41, 185, 5'11, 12-14%bf

Goal: increase mass (preferably leaner) and strength, and reduce bf%. Would also like to increase vascularity if possible.

Diet and workout routine are pretty well in tune. Have worked out consistently for 4 years now, 2 of which was with a personal trainer.

Cycle: Test E 500mg per week (250 Sun & 250 Wed) for 12-14 weeks-looking for advice on the length of cycle. Possibly add D-bol 50mg for weeks 1-4, but not sure. PCT will consist of nolva and aromasin again.

Here has been my current situation. Beginning of Sept I found out that my blood pressure was very high and my cholesterol was jacked. (I know I am an idiot, but the cycle was 9 weeks of eq 600mg each week, and 50mg eod of winny for weeks 5-9 the last injections mid-August. I know a screwed up cycle) I believe that this is all due to the screwed up cycle I ran as I have never had any problems in the past. I am wondering though, if the bad cycle was the cause, or is it indicating that my body really can't tolerate the gear. Or is it that the bad cycle was just that damaging and negative of an experience? I have been on bp med (Adalat) for about a month now, and it has come down very nicely. Still waiting for test results for thyroid as doctor thinks maybe I have a hyper-thyroid. I am hoping to be off the adalat in the next week or so, and will have another lipid done to see where hdl/ldl is, but I believe it is getting better, as I know winny trashes that.

I will also take hawthorn berry, red yeast rice, flax, baby asprin to aid in keeping bp and cholesterol in check.

I also take finastride to prevent hair loss, and will continue to take it in hopes of keeping the hair!

Last question is on ordering. I have ordered internationally, and would like to place my order in the next month. Should that be enough time considering all the goings on lately?

Any thoughts, opinion, comments, and suggestions will be appreciated.

    BB

I would not embark on another cycle without doing so under the advice of a qualified medical professional. Your health is a concern and should always come first and foremost.

At your age you may very well qualify for an HRT program. I would look into it.

you should never consider any cycle while any part of your health is in question, period. i am 5 yrs younger than you and qualified for trt when i was 31... check into it. at least then you will be monitored constantly while on.

So how did you guys go about finding a endo or hrt doctor? Also, with having run what I did, if they test my testosterone levels now, won't they be high? Which obviously wouldn't be accurate due to the gear.

I agree with everyone regarding health issues. regarding the cycle itself, it sounds like you have the right idea as to what you are doing this time. good luck with it if you choose to embark on it

get some blood work done then asses what can be done after that. Your cycle looks ok, id do enth and decca personally.
Ive ordered internationally and gotten some in 2 weeks from the order date. Some in 6-7 weeks and im still waiting on part of one order going on 6 months now. A few places have reps for slow delivery, slow ship out time, and selective scamming. Be carefull who you order from and check them out with someone who knows.

Thanks for the responses so far. As an update, got the results back on the thyroid, and it is fine. Gonna have another lipid done to see where hdl/ldl numbers are, but I am suspecting they will be back up from being off the winny and taking flax, and eating eggs & salmon often. I am gonna see how lipid comes back, and if back to normal, request to get off this bp med. I think things are getting back to normal, but the bp med is screwing me up at night when I take it. If I do that and everything stays good-especially my bp-then I will most likely do the cycle I mentioned. Any further thoughts or opinions?

    Bump due to an update.

I received a call from doc and thyroid tests came back normal. I am going for another lipid panel this week to see where hdl/ldl numbers are. I am also going to talk with him about getting off bp meds, as I really think this was all due to the screwed up cycle.

So, if that is all the case, suggestions or advice on first cycle?

Am I better off with test eth or test prop? Was just reading some stuff on prop and was wondering if that would be better.

With your health concerns in consideration, if I was dead set on a correct cycle, I think I would consider test only. Test won't mess with your lipids and generally doesn't bother blood pressure. Other compounds can be hella bad on lipids and BP.

As Raven most excellently pointed out, consider a hormone replacement therapy. have your blood work done and specifically ask for a testosterone test. (they won't do this unless you request it) If you can get on a good program under supervised care you can work wonders.

I can tell you that in all likelihood, your test levels are probablly on the low side. The testosterone will make you feel much better, both at work and at play. Do some research on signs of low testosterone and find what the symptoms are. MAKE SURE you complain about those things to your doc. Couple reasons for this. . .if you are on the low side of normal, you may be rejected test replacement if you are not symptomatic. They won't give you test just for the heck of it. Complain about things like labido, inconsistant erections, having a high stress job, etc etc. Once you do research you will understand what I am saying.

You might have to dance around and try stupid creams and patches which are minimally effective at best. You goal here is to get on an injection program.

Once you get test levels up to where they need to be, you can put on some mass again like you could when you were young.

There is no replacement for diet and workout. There is no easy mean ticket. But it GREATLY helps if your test levels are on the higher side. Other compounds can help take you over the edge of genetics. But to reach your potential, you need to have adequate testosterone to get there.

By adequate I mean not substandardly low. If your test is low, then it makes it very difficult to reach your potential. (if not impossible)
