injection problem

I need some help here, did my biceps today and in the right one went in and felt somne unreal pain, wouldn't go away so i had to take the needle out it bled quite a bit and left bruising, also arm felt funny when it went in, did the bi in a diff spot and it was fine.
Any one have any idea what could have happened on the first try ?

Maybe busted through a vein ??

maybe but it was an intense pain and me arm flet very veyr strange when the needle was in there and the bruising was instantaneous

Id say u went through a vein also. It happens. But some ice on it for the next 24 - 48 hrs. That should help it.

Might have hit a nerve too if the pain was sharp. It happens I wouldn't be overly concerned but avoid that spot in the future.

Cool guys will apply ice in morning took some painkillers to amke sure i get a good nights sleep.
Just was a bit worried thats all first time i had an injection not go smoothly, also u know on ya bi's u get some lump bits whats that is it just bits of fat deposits or something.
