Did i screw this injection up? Pic Posted

Ok i get my girl to do all my injections for me.

I had to do my shoulder injection in the car as i was afraid someone would walk into my room.

I showed her where to inject but it was quite dark.

After she injected i had a look and it seems like she missed the shoulder.

When flexing my shoulder i can see that she injected right at the bottom of my middle delt. See pic

Is this ok or did i waste an injection?

Also, would you class this as i tricep injection or a shoulder one?

looks more like the edge of the tricep, hard to tell. why don't you just do your own injections? what about sterility? I always alcohol swab the place I'm going to inject, do you do that as well? If so you should have noticed she wasn't swabbing your shoulder.

Yeah i always swab dude. I swabed the whole area and when she was injecting i swear it felt like the shoulder but when i looked it was a little lower.

If i raise i elbow out to the side the wound is on the bottom of the shoulder and the pain is in the shoulder.

Regardless of where i injected, did the gear go to waste or is it ok?

as long as it was in the muscle you're fine, and in that area it would be hard not to hit muscle. you should be good to go.

I'm sure your not that swole that you can't inject your own delt. My wife hits my glutes for me, but she is a nurse and knows what she is doing.

It looks kinda low for a shoulder injection, u might wanna check out a couple sites, u wanna kinda measure a small box like 1x2" in go in straight. Probably shoot no more than 1cc and use maybe a 1" 25g needle I would say. I dont' like doing my shoulders because they hurt for a few hours afterwards as compared to my quads or glutes.

Actually my wife injects my glutes all the time for me, no problems,,,I just dont have her do it in a dark car....
