    T3 dosages

How important is it to ramp up and down with T3 for a short 2-3 week cycle of it? Is it necessary to do or can i just take 100mcg for 2-3wks and then come off. Ive taken it before for a longer period of time and used the ramp up and down method w/ success but i only have about 70pills left and was thinking of just doing a short one.

ramp up to total dosage,,,,,then taper off when finishing,,short periods,,is best IMO.

don't taper comming off, no reason to. People will say it helps your thyroid restart, not true. Taper up to avoid sides, come off cold turkey.

I tapper down for the single reason of avoiding rebound, not help the thyroid start.

I know that thyroid comes back very quickly after stopping cold turkey 100mcg for example, but its not an overnight thing, it may take a couple of weeks, and that could lead to some fat gain due to slow metabolism during that phase. I figured that if I tapered down i would give some time for my thyroid to start bouncing back before actually stopping the t3 cycle. Its just a theory but since I tapper down to below normal physiological levels like 12,5mcg ed, it makes sense to me that my thyroid would be starting to work due to the low t3 levels.

I have read many complaining about gaining fat again after running t3. Maybe that is the explanation. Anyway just to play safe, after quiting t3 I run clen for a couple of weeks more.

yes it makes sense to me too, when i ran T3 for a longer period of time-6weeks, i ramped up and tapered down. i was just asking if it is just as necessary when running a quick 2week cycle of it?

    VERY WELL PUT!

The reason for tapering up and down on anything is to cushion the blow to the system, which permits it to more smoothly make the necessary adjustments (phasing in or out).

It was once commonly believed that this was also the case with Test, and actually it is, but PCT is a better way of doing the same thing via another avenue.

I thought I read somewhere that you shouldn't use clen after a t3 cycle because it will keep your thyroid shutdown or something like that... Could be remembering wrong tho... Anyone know?

I don't think clen has anything to do with thyroid.

I swear I read that somewhere on here... Been digging through the educationals and just found 1 post where a guy mentioned that he had read it was counter-productive but thats about it.

I am not saying you are wrong, but from all my research on clen , and it was a lot, i never bumped into that information. I'll look for it, maybe I am doing things wrong.

I understand where you are coming from hugo, it makes sense and I gave some thought to the same theory. I think it's more productive to let the pituitary really scream at the thyroid for some t3, and remove all suppression.
