urgent help needed - possible infection

did a quad injection on thursday night and once the needle was fully penetrated for some reason my quad contracted involuntary. Began to inject and everything continued as per normal. However when withdrawing the needle there was more blood then normal. I put pressure on this and the bleeding stopped. Now 3 days later my quad is in agony. I cant even walk cos it hurts so much when the muscle contracts. I went to the doctor and he said that it could be a possible infection and prescribed anti-biotics and pain killers. My question is could this be a possible infection and should i take anti-biotics? Will the anti-biotics have any negative effect on my cycle or my gains? Do you think i hit a nerve or something? Thanks.

If you went to a doc and he looked at it and thought it might be an infection and gave you antibiotics you should have already started them.. A infection is no joke..

All he did was press the site and said it was possible infection. Will the anti-biotics have any negative effect on my cycle?

Ok, you went to the doctor, he examined you, and said it could be an infection and prescribed medication. Now you want opinions from non-doctors who can not see the condition as to whether you should follow your doctor's advice?

an infection certainly would, ask the member that ended up in the hospital a couple months ago, he had a informative post about it. why would you take the chance?

Having a infection and possibly begin laid up in the hospital or worse can really effect your cycle...

Your health should come first and foremost...

you didn't even say which antibiotic he prescribed, so that's a broad question, but I have taken some antibiotics on cycle before with no adverse reactions.

Didn't you post a few days ago about your girl injecting your delt off location in a dark car???

I think your injection procedure could use an overhaul, thus greatly reducing the chance of infection in the future.

As for this thread, take the antibiotics and clear the infection, worry about the cycle afterwards.

As stated above, your health should ALWAYS be first and foremost.

That sounds like when a Doctor tells an Alcoholic his liver is about to fail and the Alcoholic says "But can I still drink?"

Man, if you have an infection, you got bigger problems than worrying about your bicepts
