i mean would it be better to run 1g of test or 500mg and 400mg deca ?

there is no doubt that you will gain more on test and deca , than on just test deca is a great mass builder. imo 1g of test is too much unless you have extensive cycle experience.

i ask because i read tthe kick in time for deca is 5-7 weeks and if i want to do a 12 week cycle i am only getting 5-7 weeks of deca,can i front load deca so kick in time is faster?

yes you can frontload the deca , and test/deca would yield more mass than test only at high doses.

because one wk is normally all you need to get your levels to peak status.

2 weeks would be overkill, frontloading for a week should be plenty. I've never tried it for 2 weeks so I can't say what the difference would be, but just doing it for the first week with test e and deca I noticed an increased sex drive in just 2 or 3 weeks instead of 5 or 6. I don't think frontloading for 2 weeks would make it kick in any faster than 2 or 3 weeks anyway.
