you can get 1% at Rite Aid, CVS over the counter and works pretty good. Just next time your at the doctors office tell him your need nizoral 2% for the dandruff and to help keep your scalp normalized. Ask him for a year prescription so you don't have to keep coming back. He will write it out no problem so you get one refill a month. If you do it that way its covered on your insurance
