    Cutting Cycle

On my Tren\Test\Winny cycle im on now so far I have had great results. I have put on some good lean body mass and dropped a few percent bodyfat. However I have terrible genetics in the midsection, at 9% bf right now you still cant see my abs,,matter of fact I think I would have to be at 6% or less for them to show. now in my legs, shoulders, and arms you can see nice striations, so I know its genetics, because my dad has a beer belly from hell. Now my midsection is completely flat just got an inch or so of fat covering my abs. So this is leading me to want to do something dramatic to get to 6% or less. If I cut carbs completely for say a week or 2, how bad is this going to be?? Or do you guys have any other suggestions??

post pics i guarantee your not 9% bf, i show striations in my shoulders at 14% same as my quads but my abs arent even a distant thought they're hidding at 14% so your higher than you think you are, also post your diet, and cutting carbs completely for 1 week would not benefit you in any way infact would most likely cause your body to rebound when you started eating carbs again and most likely store it as fat....

so this is what you should do
post pics so we can see how low you really are
post your diet so it can be critiqued
if you think you can handle it yourself then look into carb cycling

i cut from 14% bf to around 10 and i never ate any less than 250 carbs a day....so its NOT necessary to cut carbs as low as some think.....are you doing cardio? if so how long and where in your regimen

For me, entering a state of ketosis (little or no carbs) should be the last dieting strategy in one's arsenal. When cutting, I only do it for the last 2-3 weeks of the cycle.... I find that any longer and it takes a toll on my health, weight training intensity and recovery.

Other than thinking you know more about my body than I do thanks for the advice. I have no reason to prove to you that Im 9%bf. I was at 12.2%bf(fact) when I started this cutting cycle and I didnt start showing good striations until probably about 11% or so. If you cant believe that and expect that my body composition should be the same as yours im sorry about your misunderstanding of how different bodys can be. I think honestly I will probably get to my goal by the end of this cycle with the current diet and program I am on however Im guilty of always wanting that fast fix and I know I shouldnt be that way. nonetheless I will be happy to post my diet, and you will see that I have already limited my carbs quite a bit, and am pretty low on cals for even a cutting cycle, but my main goal is to lose bodyfat and save muscle, which so far I have done. So here goes

600-2 whole eggs and 4 egg whites, 1 cup oatmeal(half scoop protein powder in oatmeal)
    700-Preworkout, 1 scoop protein
930-Postworkout, 2 scoops protein and 60 grams Dextrose
1000-Chicken breast(25-30g protein) and steamed broccoli
1300-Can of tuna or chicken(25-30g protein), and 2 tablespoons peanut butter
1600-Lean meat(30-40g protein)(chicken, tuna, sorloin, or sometimes 93/7 hamburger meat)
    1900-Lean meat(30-40g protein)
    2100-1-2 scoops casein protein

As far as cardio goes I do 1 session 30-45 minutes in the mornings after my weight lifting, and on some days do another session in the afternoon.

I have a cheat meal on Friday nights usually, thats the family night out to eat.

This does not include all the supps I take like multi vitamins, glutamine, fish oil etc.....

well iguess if it works for you stick with it but your already eating WAY less carbs than i would ever consider eating. like i said i got to 10% very easily never going below 250 and that was the absolute lowest usually around 350..... and how are you measuring your bf%? quit worrying about numbers and stick to the mirror anyways its easier to judge

Haro, I have good genetics eveywhere except my midsection, Im telling you im just one of those guys that loses fat in the midsection last among everywhere. Im mean im not fat by any means and i dont even have a pooch, or whatever you wanna call it LOL, but I just cant get any definition in my abs when most others can. I have had many bodyfat tests over the years, and you probably know like I do given it looks like you have a bit of experience that you can usually tell where you are bodyfat wise even without bodyfat tests, however i had a caliper test and the electronic test done on sat and the caliper was right at 9%, and the electronic test said 9.2% exactly,,,plus I was guessing before that I was around 10% so i was close. And I wouldnt be worried about numbers if I looked the way I wanted in the mirror. I have also modified my ab workouts extensively so we will see how that does over the next few weeks, and I have also worked winny back in, and will hope I dont have joint pain this time...

not doubting you, but thats really crazy, i've been around bodybuilding for quite some time and i've never seen anyone at or under 11% not showing abs.
