Side Effects with DHT blocker

So I was considering running Dutasteride throughout my cycle (baldness runs in my mum's family, around the early 20's) as well as for combating excess oil, as im prone to breakouts.

Does DHT play a roll in building muscle? Does DHT affect your energy/libido? Anything?

DHT does not play a great part in muscle building.

It plays an important part on Central Nervous System stimulation interfering with agression and strength. Also plays a role in libido.

to exactly what degree DHT has in muscle building ive yet to see it in proof,,but I do beleive there is an effect.

so what are the side effects of these DHT blockers such as finasteride???

"dht blockers" like finasteride and dutastride dont block dht. They keep testosterone from turning into dht. So... they dont work at all for other dht based or high androgen aas. Like mast, winny, tren , primo, etc.
There are topical dht blockers like nizoral shampoo and spiro. i use them both year round now. on and off cycles.

While were on the topic, just curious as to weather or not running Dutasteride along with DHT-derived steroids would cause problems?

Does nothing to DHT derived steroids , does not prevent MPB from them either.

5AR blockers like Dutasteride and Finasteride are sort of a one trick pony, they only work on testosterone . It is always a good idea to use a 5ar blocker when including testosterone in a cycle.
