Usually, the powder is 5000iu's, so if you put 1ml of solvent in, then 1/10 of a ml would be 500iu's.

ya use an insulin needle

Use an insulin syringe. And mix with more than 1 ml of solution, makes for more accurate dosing.

On insulin syringes 1cc/ml is 100 units as its marked. If my math is correct divide 500/5000 and you get .1 or 10 units on the syringe case.
