    New Guy Advice

Ok so I have done my research and prerequisite reading here. I am about to reembark on my pursuit of fitness and a better body. I am currently 6'1 250 and by my own admission a fat ass. I have had huge body fluctuations due to athletic and job related pursuits.
As a college athlete I was a lean 235, fast and agile. I dropped a ton of weight while in the military due to ridiculous amounts of running involved. I went as low as 205 but since getting out and doing no physical exercise I ballooned up to my current weight. I began a running and weight regimen about a month ago.
MY AAS history has been varied and usually undertaken in haphazard cycles. Usually done under less than ideal circumstances due to high operational tempo of my job and deployments/availability issues.
I am about to do a Deca, Winny and Test Cycle. I have planned this for about 8 weeks. I have a PCT set up including Clomid, and Clen/T3. Am I on the right track here? I plan to eat clean and do AM cardio sessions while on cycle, coupled with Strength training of course. Am I making a mistake in doing the cycle prior to the cutting phase? My ultimate goal is to be a lean mean 225 or so.....I have seen a ton of retarded and time wasting posts on here and I sincerely hope this does not fall into that category. Any and all advice is welcome and if I am out of bounds please let me know ASAP. Thanks in Advance.

No I do not think you are ready to be taking aas man, heres why:

You have only been training for one month
    Your diet is off
You do not know how and do not have the lifestyle to run a proper cycle
You are not yet in proper shape or have the diet and training experience to start aas
You do not necessarily need aas to reach your goal

All you need to do is get into the lifestyle of training and eating well and have patience because nothing happens fast. Steroids are not magic and they will not transform your body especially if you do not know how to eat or train. Do some research in the training and diet sections of the site and take as long as you need to naturally reach your goal. Good luck man!

You should eat clean, do cardio, and do strength training regardless of if you're on cycle or not. Changing your body is not a 3 month process and then its permanent... it's a lifestyle change.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think my previous post was a bit lacking in terms of where I am in terms of knowledge, training experience, etc. I have played college football at the Div 1 level. I trained like an animal and read with equal vigor on all subjects associated with training, diet, supplements, etc. I have run a marathon in under 3 hours. Pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum. I am highly frustrated by my current state and my body has alot of little nagging injuries preventing my progress. I have endured a lot of physical breakdown and abuse due to the nature of my job in the military and schools associated with getting there. I know a lot of people are lazy and looking for that "Silver bullet" and think that AAS are magic. The mainstream media only helps to reinforce this thinking and mentality. I believe diet is more important than training and that all things, diet, training, any supplementation work in a synergistic way to get you to your goals.
I think I really knew the answer to my question but just wanted to hear it from guys in the mix. I need to cut the fat before I do any type of cycle and get my base line strength and conditioning up prior. I once again thank you for your input and I look forward to learning and contributing where I can here. THANKS!!

this is exactly what they're saying. make sure you understand the mindset and LIFE change that must take place to maintain this effort and you will go a long way to regaining your former glory. I agree with your assessment that you need to get your diet going well, dop your BF% down and get your training in gear.. after all this, and some mroe reading possibly... you should be ready for aas IMO.

get disciplined first with your diet and training habits, dude taking gear is not a magic drug. You have to have your training dialed in your diet dialed in before you can succeed with gear. There is no rush to start the gear, prepare yourself gear isnt something you should just jump into, reading and research isnt enough, you need to be completely prepared. i have been out of the gym due to an injury for almost 2months my diet is awful, and ive become lazy, i have a cycle ready to go but i will not start that until i get back into gear discipline mode, meaning i need to be ready to train hard 4-5 times a week and get my diet back on track. I should be back in the gym slowly this next week then when i feel im ready and im back on track in the gear mode, then i will break out the gear and start. good luck
