Well right now, I have 25g needles. normally oil-based injects draw pretty slow, but the new stuff i have is ridiculous. takes me literally about 20mins to draw out 2cc's of the stuff!!!
now, considering it's that bad with the 25g, i'm not sure if going down to 23g would be enough or should i maybe go with 21g? not sure how big 21g is and don't feel like sticking an ice-pick in myself, but i also don't feel like falling asleep while i'm waiting for the oil to draw out. what do you guys think?
I have used 21g before. Its a bit thick but glutes and thighs hold it well. If you are shooting ed I wouldn't recommend it. I say try the 23g 1st.
Draw with 18G pin it with a 23G
just use a bigger needle for drawing.
22-23g should do the trick... they're not so bad
Draw Wit 18 And Switch It Back To 22
I have some thick oil now too and I draw with 18 and shoot with 23 and all is well... it's still a little slow but it actually makes you go at a good speed of injection IMO.
great feedback guys. i hadn't thought of using a different needle to draw. just never came to mind cause i never had to do that before, but that would save me some cash there. good call! thanks.
heat it up it will thin the oil somewhat...................
