My Testosterone Levels Doubled, But How?

I am 49 years old. My testosterone level was in the 350 range for 8 years. Now for some reason it shot up to 675. I was on Synthroid for years. I changed to Cytomel for my u**eractive thyroid. Does anyone know if Cytomel will increase testosterone levels in the body?

If it does its new to me. I knew it increased protein synthesis, but not test levels.

Have you lost bodyfat after starting cytomel ?

Lowering your BF will increase testosterone levels b/c estrogen aromatase heavily in fat-cells, and estrogen is very supressive on the HPTA...(Lower BF=Lower estrogen=Higher testosterone .)

Good point. One other explanation could be that the less aromatase is available, less test is converted to estrogen and that by itself would mean more total test.
