Nizoral vs Nioxin

Both are said to wash dht off the scalp..both are claimed to be effective in thickening hair and helping slowing down hair loss..so which one??

Which one do you use? Or do you use both??

Post links of info and/or studies you found interesting on these products.

I ordered some nizoral 2% and I havent used it yet because it says on the bottle it can actually make lose hair so I would also like to know what people like better.

i have used the 1% to help with some thinning hair and i must say that it did help. i ordered some 2% for when i get on cycle due to being prone. so i have no complaints. have never used the nioxin so i cant give you any feedback on that bro.

iv been using nizorol 2%. i noticed that it said that it an cause hair loss too on the bottle!!! whats the deal with this then????

What you guys need to realize is if you're predetermined to go bald...you will!!! no if ands or buts about it...you can slow it down with those types of shampoo aswell finasteride and others but then you speed it up with the use of the compounds...

I using Nioxin System 6 plus Duta everyday. No hairloss at all (touch wood) Infact, hair is thicker and fuller than ever before.

yea nioxin looks like it's a really good product for thinkening up the hair you already have..how much did you pay for the system 6?

The thickening of hair will not prevent hair loss while on cycle.

You need to find a shampoo that removes DHT buildup in the scalp.

Nizoral or Nioxin are the only ones i know that work. There are heaps other out there too.

If you want my opinion go with Nizoral or Nioxin.

i noticed my hair thinning from last cycle so im going to try preventing it from now on..im planning on using nizoral, nioxin, rogaine and duta .25mg/day for every cycle

im gonna use the nizoral and nioxin all year round and gonna add in the rogaine and duta during cycles

nizerol i noticed can cause an allergic reacton where its applied if left on too long. i put it on a zit and left it till the morn and it was all read an swollen. I dont feel u would lose hair peromannatly from it but temporary maybe.
