The needle probably passed a blood vessel. As long as you aspirate and no blood in the syringe - you're fine.

you hit a superficial blood vessel. No major problems with this. Happens often. The only problem that can occur is bruising around the injection area...not so bad.

The only thing you can do is try to immediatley hold a little pressure on the site to stop the bleeding. you'll be alright otherwise, as long as you aspirated and got no blood return.

Scary when it happens, but really harmless

hold the needle as steady as possible. Any moving or shacking the needle while it is in you is a major factor in causing this. I used to have this problem allot when shooting certain spots. Now my wife shoots them and I have only bled a few times in the last 100 or so shots.

absolutely...its all technique...if youve ever had a doctor or nurse give you a shot that was painless and left no bruising, its because they're pros and they have thier technique down...the more you do the better you'll get at them, i used to bleed all the time when i began my first cycle and now i dont even blink, no blood no bruising no pain...
