Only con that I found about Anavar were the pumps it gave me were so painful that I couldn't even work out as intense anymore and some exercises I couldn't even do anymore cause my muscles would cramp and hurt so much from the pumps. I mean they were REALLY painful, after every set I usually had to rest a bit more to let the pain subside before I could do the next set.

    no cons for var..loved it.

Huge strength gains and I was cutting...it was the only aas I was using so i know I can attribute it to strength gains. More vascularity and I think it helped me shed bodyfat at a faster rate than diet/cardio alone.

i ran anavar for 10 weeks at 60 mg. huge strenth gains and 12 lbs of hard muscles. ofcourse my diet was high protein moderate carb, all in check. I do agree it was hard doin some heavy workouts like deadlifts due to the backpump, i also feel some of my cardio suffered because of the back pump.

    Pros:
It's suppressive, but it doesn't shut you down.
Very lean gains, which you usually keep.
A lot less toxic than most orals.
    Very good for strength gains.
    Can help with burning fat.

    Cons:
    Expensive.
Size gains are, while quality, minimal.

Generally, it's a safe drug which is most applicable to people who want to build a lot of strength without bulking up a lot, to stay in the same weight class in a sport, for example.

Anavar is probably the BEST steroid ever made. Its very mild on the body (its used to treat liver diesease in alcoholic). It provides quality lean gains with no bloat and moderate strength. I find it reduces body fat and increases vasculatrity very well.

The only downside is its expensive, but worth every penny IMO

Go to my blog I have a var cycle log. It was a great first timer steroid . I only lost about 10 % of strenth gains. I was very impressed with that. But diet IS everything with var if you wana loose fat. I did 50mg for 4 weeks them 75mg for 2 more weeks. I did not feel or get any more from the 75mg. Pm me if you got any questions.

from what i have read var is one of the safest steroids outhere, unfortunatly the amount needed for a 10wk cycle is so damn expensive.

At 50mg I have noticed great strength gains and I am hard as a rock, not big on orals myself but I will probably include it in every cycle from here on, reguardless of cost.

I personally love var, the cons were acne and some headaches, but strength went thru the roof, saving my pennies for the next time.

Sorry, for stealing the thread, what besides prop have you guys stacked with var and how was it?

I hated the stuff. Made me feel so lethargic didnt even want to workout at all. just wanted to sleep all day. Worst GI upset of any AAS I have ever taken. Very expensive. Very weak.

Not to hard on the liver for sure and some ok vascularity. But thats where it ended for me.

Taurine and Potassium for Var Pumps

I've been on Var 50 mg ed for 7 weeks: I only weigh 136 lbs as I'm an endurance athlete. I researched it thoroughly and found a thread that suggested using Taurine (amino acid supplement) and potassium to help with the pumps. I've taken 500 mg Taurine twice per day, an electrolyte supplement twice a day, eaten potassium rich food (bananas for instance), and haven't had any workout inhibiting pumps. I have felt lethargic at times, especially when doing cardio. Var is definitely better for weight training than cardio. I stacked it with Furaguno 33 mg twice a day, a pro hormone which is supposed to be similar to Furazabol (miotolan). My libido has been lower than usual despite taking 25 mg proviron ed too. Strength gains, muscle hardness, and vascularity are definitely there!
