Inj Site Bump

Hey: Did my shot last night (Sunday) and about an hour later I got a bump, bout half the size of a ping pong ball protruding out at the inj site. Used a 23g 1/.5 long ndl so I know I got into the glute muscle. Never happend before so couple questions: Did it leak out into the space between the skin and muscle? If so does this loose the effectivness of the shot? Could it have just been a reaction to maybe hitting to close to a prior site? This was my last week of a 12 wk cycle. Bump went down quite a bit this morning, still a little bump, just a little bit of minor pain to touch and very small bruise. Any thoughts, Happy New Year!

Was a 2.5cc dose of Test C and Deca combo.

Keep an eye on it but if it is going down already you are probably fine. If it persists then talk to a doctor but if the swelling is going down you are likely fine.

Is the inject site red or hot to the touch ?

No, not hot or red, goind down already but just a little tender today, any idea on the cause?

Sometimes larger injections will knot up. In the past I've injected larger volumes, but I don't go over 2cc anymore (1.5cc max for pecs and bis).

another thing may be injecting to quickly. I have noticed when I inject that if I force the oil in too quickly it tends to make me a little tender. You could be forcing the shot too quickly.

Good points all, I did inject a little qucikly this time, my gear is 210mg/ml so I need to go with the larger injection. In future does it make sense to do 2 inj, split up the gear, one in each glute so as not to pump to much in?

Almost 12 hrs later, no fever, a little more bruising, swelling almost gone, not hot in the area. I searched this topic and found a lot of good advice. One thing I have not been doing is aspirating. Question: If I aspirate and find blood do I pull the ndl all the way out and reset with a new tip or do I just pull back a little. Thanks for all your help, this board is a life saver!

I get this even with small volumes,...I have to inject daily small doses regaurdless of the product just to keep from getting fists under my muscles, and if its test I cut it with cottonseed oil....sucks...but, if there a will theres a way i figure...haha.

One thing I have not been doing is aspirating. Question: If I aspirate and find blood do I pull the ndl all the way out and reset with a new tip or do I just pull back a little. Thanks for all your help, this board is a life saver!

Always aspirate! If you get blood, pull out and repin in a fresh spot. Changing the needle is optional.

Hey All: Its been a week since I got the bump at the pin site and after my last post the black and blue came on big, no infection, pain (to speak of) or redness, just a big bad bruise. Well a week later the bruise is mostly gone, and the bump has reduced quite a bit. However the bump ist still there and very hard but not painful. Any ideas on how long I can expect this baby to hang around? Off cycle now and on to PCT so I don't expect any glute pins for a while.
