The Spiro Thread of the YEAR!

I just ordered some 5% spiro cream and want to know what you guys think about it.

Have you heard good things about it or bad things?

How do you use it and how often?

    Is it better than rogaine?

I start off with something interesting

Abstract: The effects of topically applied spironolactone on the sebum secretion rates (SSR) of young adults were investigated. SSR was expressed as the ratio of wax esters/[cholesterol+cholesterol esters] (WE/[C+CE]) and the amount of sebaceous lipids (squalene, triacylglycerol and wax esters). Topical spironolactone 5% gel applied to the right cheeks of the subjects produced a significant reduction in the SSR at 12 weeks (4 weeks after termination of application), but not at 8 weeks (the end of treatment). Untreated "control" areas (the left cheeks of the subjects) showed no significant change during the study. None of the subjects experienced skin rash or signs of local irritation.

In otherwords put it where you get a lot of zits.

there are no large control studies with topical spiro in men for hairloss. It should work in theory, I don't know how well, don't use it myself. Just thought it would be cool to some people it works against zits.

Not sure about rogaine. I'm pretty sure i prone to MPB and i will be runnning a 19-nor and a DHT derivate in my next cycle (with test of course).

For my hair i will be using Duta @ .25mg ED, nioxin shampoo and spiro 5%.

From what i've read it takes a while to see the full effects from Duta.
Apparently it takes a while to build up in your system

I was shedding a lot of hair after my last cycle and during pct. I started 5% Minoxidil, 0.5mg Finasteride and Nizoral 2% 3 times a week. My hair is now thicker than ever before, and no more shedding. I also started using 15% Minoxidil and only use it once a day (before bed). Have the spiro cream as well but haven't started using it.

If I were going with an androgenic DHT in my cycle I would choose Spiro over Rogaine. The nice thing about spiro's is it will block any androgen at the receptor assuming it works the way we hope it does. So it affords protection for all steroids .

I like duta/nizoral 2%/rogaine combo because of clinical history and they have worked well for me. Rogaine should be effective on the temples, even though the fda study did not test for this indication.

if dbol makes you thin out.....then why use it???????????? especially if your having to spend all this cash on hair treatments. surley the test and deca will do the job. if your that worried you could use somehting like tbol in the 1st 4 weeks as a replacement for the dbol'.

i love the strength the d-bol gives me before the test and deca kicks in, i just keep it to a low dose and only use it for 4 weeks
