How long does it usually take for the 'puffy look' cause by water retention to go away? After a cycle of Sust and Deca.
Is there anything you can do to minimize water retention? In the gym or dieting.
Thanks

I think , but not sure, the more water you drink the less you retain. I'm sure one of the senior members can point you in the right direction.
since your done with your cycle just give it time itll be gone in 2 to 3 weeks
adex or any AI will minimize water retention. Drinking lots of water, avoiding foods high in sodium will all reduce the bloating effect. But like stated itll go down in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for the info.
The bad part about adding Arimidex to a cycle is that you can hinder growth due to all of the estrogen blockage. This being said seems reasonable to me to bloat toward the start of a cycle and lean down toward the end.
True to some extent Adex wont nearly inhibit estrogen as much as letro will thats why its recomended. Some people hate the water bloat and all other estrogen related sides while on cycle and that is why they use an AI like Adex or letro knowing that letro is far stonger. They also use an AI knowing that they "may" sacrifice some strength/muscle gains so they can keep the hard look and not look like apuffer fish. BTW Welcome to AR!![]()
I have always loved the puffy Look.. It lets me know in my head that I am ON and what to achieve while I am ON !! God I can't wait until my next cycle. I am like counting weeks now... something like 4 and a 1/3 or something to that nature.. YAAAY !!
Sorry Fellas for getting so excited !!
An AI may kill some of you gains http://forums.steroid.com/blog.php?b=28 please read
low doses of a-dex don't hinder agains as much as people think... when that article was written by merc. im pretty sure he was refering to either a larger then normal dose of a-dex or a decent dose of letro... a-dex is very mild in comparison to letro... ive never had a problem with diminished gains from a-dex and ive ran identical cycles with and without it... im sure other experienced members will tell you the same thing
now letro on the other hand i will never use again.. made me lethargic, lost sex drive, and i blew up after dropping the letro out of my cycle... try a low dose of a-dex around
.25mgs/day, and i can almost guareentee you won't have a problem, unless you are very sensitive to AIs... then u could become a problem... good luck

also from what ive read a-dex has a half-life somewhere inbetween 2 and 3 days, so as suggested in the article by merc the build up of .5mgs/EOD would be quite sufficent, maybe too much...
OoOoo a useful set of tips that I am going to log into my brain for future use.. thank you very much. Now Quick question say u didnt want the bloat and u opted to try this method.. do you start the a-dex as soon as you start injecting or at the first sign of significant bloat???
i think you could start off without it, but if you start getting estrogen related sides such as bloat and gyno you could start a low dose of about .25mgs/EOD or .25mgs/ed... you could always start the a-dex when u start the injections (fast acting esters), as i do, or acouple weeks in with slow acting esters... but its really up to you and how you react to AIs.... i start right away because im not very sensitive to a-dex at low to moderate doses and i sometimes have gyno problems, so its better to prevent it then to try and stop it once it starts
Good info J*U*icEd, thanks!
