Its been said a thousand times before ..but here goes
I,ve been off the board for a while but I have started to make bit more of an appearance and the first thing I have noticed is there seems to be a lack of respect by certian members.
We all get tired of reading the same questions (Try being a mod we get it on the board, via pm and if we are really lucky we get e-mail as well )
A few points we ALL need to remember
Newbies should use the search facility but sometimes things are called by different names that may not be recognised by either the newbie or the search button.Lets be a little more tolerant of these guys. They are the furture of this board. We have all asked dumd questions at one time or another,it's part of the learning curve.
Newer members who exhibit the "Fuck you" attitude.Great it may work on other boards but it does not cut through on this board. If you come here for help please be polite
Respect others opinions if you ask for advice and someone offers you something you don't agree with accept that is their opinion
No flaming under any circumstances and just because one person may have got away with it does not mean the whole thread has to be like it.That person will be caught up with
We do not discriminate against religion, gender, sex, race EVER
Lets keep these things in mind and make this board one of the better ones out there.
Right group hug

When AR first started we established the rules you are talking about. No flaming, etc... Some said it would never last. We have almost 8,000 members now and thanks to the mods, vets, and the senior members the rules have always been enforced. When someone breaks the rules, even the members help us out. That is what make AR so great. Thanks everyone!

Billy Boy is right. I have been guilty of not showing great patience with certain questions in the past. For this, I am sorry. Yes, new members should try and research most of their questions themselves (like Mike XXL said yesterday).
But it is tough to read that when someone gives advise out to go back and read that the person asking the question wants to argue with the responses they received. I don’t claim to know everything… hell, that is why I am here! If you don’t like what is suggested or put in front of you, just move on! And I will be the first one to admit that I have given advise out, only to come back and read other responses which after reading, I think are more of a correct answer! That's why I think this site is great. Just my $.02Last edited by NoLimits; 09-11-2002 at 09:53 AM.

Great post BB. No one person is "better" than anyone else. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion which sometimes is not always respected. Where else could you go where two people from different parts of the country, sometimes the world, who have never met, could be of different races, ages, genders, backrounds, etc., who quite possibly only have that one thing in commom, but are willing to help your fellow brother out. This board is like a brotherhood. The knowledge here at AR is absolutely tremendous. There is SOOOOOO much information. I know I for one are greatly appreciative of all the advice that I have received from the Mods. and members. I'm an AR member for life!!

Great post BB!
I'm so sick of the same questions being asked I just don't even bother to respond anymore cuz I've said it a million times.
Topics include: Forearm pain, what to drink with creatine, how much does ** cost, how to take clen , etc.....

Yes gender and sex is the same thing but ripped4fsu you said it better than I could
Jay said it best when the old board was running there was a lot less members and flaming was never seen.Considering the amount of members AR has 99% of the members are well behaved, polite, and generally helpful, sure we all have a bad day where our answers may be a bit to the point but that is to be expected.

Billy, you are wise and noble...
I just have one question...
and no, it's not "can I drink my Winny?!"
when I see * * in a post I know that means something has been blocked. why do you guys do that? is it company names, user names or someones real name? just curious..
-
09-11-2002, 01:01 PM #34
We don't do it it is part of the program when you type two certian letters it prints them as ** to hide a sources,s name.Drop me a PM and I,ll explain it better if you want me to.
