What is it about the cypionate ester that makes it take 5-6 weeks before you notice its effects?
As far as I know, the stuff has a 7-10 day half life. So shouldn’t its effects be noticeable in the first week? However, as most guys who have done a test only cycle, with no oral, or prop at the beginning already have found out, it is right around the 5-6 week mark that you start to notice the test cyp.
No changes, or very little in terms of wood, more energy, not even a measurable strength increase etc....Not until around the 5th or 6th week. This seems pretty universal with every one I have talked to.
So what I am thinking is that 1. the cypionate ester actually has a 5-6 week half-life, and only becomes active for 7 days, near the end of the half-life.
Either that, or 2. It takes that long for the body to start absorbing it from the injection site. Opposite of say, prop, where you notice it the day of the shot.
Not that it makes much difference in the way it is used for making gains, but the concern may come in when guys are doing their PCT, two weeks after the last shot then would be a little soon.
I have heard of some folks getting gains during PCT. Could that be because they are still getting the effects of the cyp?
