    Need advise

Happy new year to everyone out there...

been brousingthis site for a while now thinking of my next move. So i thought i would sign up and ask a few questions...

Well I am 34 years old and have been working out since September 2007.
I took a big break off this past summer and started up again in september.

My daily routine is Monday to Friday & saturday with Sunday off , and a much need cheat day...
I work out in the morning due to work, so I am at the gym at 6am until 8:30.

I start with 10 minute run and then go on to my weight routine.

day 1 Chest , triceps , and situps. Then i finish off with 30 minutes of incline walking.

day 2 , Back , bieceips , situps, then 30 minutes of incline walking.

day 3 , legs , shoulders situps , then 30 minutes of incline walking.

day 4, Chest , triceps , and situps. Then i finish off with 30 minutes of incline walking.

day 5, Back , bieceips , situps, then 30 minutes of incline walking.

i think i am around 20% - 22% body fat and have noticed s*****in in size.
I drink Energized expand before i work out and then eat my meals after the gym with a total of 4 24g scoops of whey protein per day.

Here is my problem. I want to start a cycle and do not what one(s) to start and what the benifit will be. I also have spent close to 1500 in personal trainning within the last year to learn how to workout. I do not know if I am eating proper, too much or not enough and have read that getting results while on a cycle is tied into the diet...

Just looking for some insight if any can respond to this.

    thanks

    LP

Bro first things first ...get your nutrition right FIRST!!!...what are your goals for your first cycle???...here is another tip bro....today anyone can be a personal trainer...doesnt mean that he or she is a GOOD personal trainer...you can get a certificate on the net for a fee...read the diet forums and get some sample diets..then go to profiles forum and look some compounds up.By the way WELCOME to AR!!

Welcome. You are not allowing enough recovery time, and your diet has to be way off.

My diet is good, just not sure if it it good enough.

I am 5ft 9inch and 190lbs, i do need to lean a little but want to get a little more size before i lean.

    My diet is as follows...

Energized expand drink before workout, and my workout is from 6ish am until 830ish am mostly monday to friday and some saturdays.

After my workout i have either half cup oatmeal or cottage cheese with some fruit and nuts. 50-60g of whey protein.

mid morning snack is bananna and another protein shake

Lunch is 8-12 oz of chicken or beef and some vegtables or just cold on a salad and a yogurt.

mid afternoon either a can of tuna or some rooled up deli turkey or ham and protein shake

dinner is 8-12 oz of chicken of beef and more vegtables

I am not sure if i should eat before i work out or after, i do have a small amount of lower belly fat that i want to loose.

I guess my goal are to get bigger then i am now and get a little more cut then i am now. my strength is up there and so is my stamina.

I have been looking in to D-bol with winni for my first cycle, or d-bol with decca and winni for my first cycle?

Let your body rest after a workout. Working out the same body parts three days later as Ima said is not enough rest for them to fully recover.

I would think that a test only cycle would give you a good starter cycle. I would make sure that your workouts and diets are as goood as you can get them first though.

Aside from Test, I have heard that Deca or Winni or both is a good cycle to start with.

What do you think of those as a first cycle?

I think i have decided to do deca and test E for my first cycle. Any advise on what one to actually start with? And if this will be the way to go ?

Last night i changed up my diet after reading all the treads.

Today i worked out from 6am until 830 with 40min of intense incline walking after my back and bieceip workout.

Then i rushed to my office and had my first meal.

9am 4 eggs and half cup of oatmeal and protein shake with two sccops each at 24g

1045am fruit & almonds and protein shake with two sccops each at 24g

1230 two cabbage rolls and a cup of brocoli

330pm half cup of cottage cheese and with mixed pinnaple and with two sccops each at 24g

630pm two grilled chicken breast with salad

900pm yogort and protein shake with two sccops each at 24g

please let me know your thoughts.... Also i am from the Toronto, Canada area.
if any one can reccomend a trainner that can tailor a diet and specific workout sessions please let me know.

One more thing, it is impossible for me to workout in the evening we have two small children the demand my attention once i am home

I'm not sure what you mean by which one to start with, but first cycle should be test e or test cyp 500mg/week for 12 weeks followed by pct. No deca.

id personally say no steroids yet at 20-22% bf.

keep with a low fat diet n keep with the gym, try and drop to 15%

*edit also, try and get ya workout on a wed rather than a fri or sat, more time to recover like what was said b4.

2 1/2 hours is too long to train IMO..45-60 minutes with weights then 30 minutes of cardio or so..after that long of training your cortisol levels get high and your body becomes catabolic..I suggest your split your training into one body part per week..training them twice a week is over training for most people..your muscles grow at rest..not in the gym..you need to eat a lot more protein too..at least 1.5 grams of protein per lb of body weight..so at 200 lbs you need about 300 grams of protein/day..try to get it from real food and not so much protein shakes...you need to learn about post workout nutrition as well as its the most important meal of the day..well that and breakfast..I suggest you work on your diet before considering AAS..if your diet sucks you wont get anything from steroids. Head over to the diet forum..following this link

and start reading..particularly the threads at the top that have IMPORTANT next to them

one other thing..try to keep track of everything you eat..that means counting calories and breaking it into macros (i.e. how many cals come from protein,fat,carbs)..you can use fitday.com to help track all that..its a good website

Longhorn, I have a question now. In a previous post you said to try to get your protein from real food. I agree with you. I am just wondering how much difference it makes to eat your protein (meal) instead of drink it (shake). Reason being, I eat most of my protein when I am at home, but I do travel somewhat frequently for work and usually rely on protein shakes for the majority of my protein while on the road. How bad is this?

well in an ideal world, it would be best to get your protein from food, but sometimes thats not always possible..the liquid protein will digest faster and thus make you hungry again in a shorter time..might be good if bulking, but bad if cutting

thank you for all the info.

I think the message i got from all this is really look into my diet before diving head first to start a cycle.

I also need to change my routine at the gym and although i will continue to do my cardio on a daily basis i think i will try to lift weights every other day.

I am several months into this routine and i think i need a change.

Tonight i will be at home on the BBQ grilling up a poop load of chicken for the week...
