Testosterone Drops
I Just came back from the doctors office and the blood test says I have low test levels and low IGF level. He recomended another doctor for the HGH because of all the controversy lately. He prescribed me Testosterone drops with a dosing of 300mg.(It has to be compunded by the pharmacy and rubbed into the wrist) Has anyone used this drops before and what kind of results did you get. Now Im not talking about the drops compared to shots or for bulking. I just want to see if you felt overall increase in test levels compared to before having it and increased energy.

Sounds abit off for a Dr to put you on a product(made from yams) that has to be specially compounded by his recommended pharmacy, when all he has to do is prescribe the already proven and tested test gels like Androgel or Testim. IDK...anyone else?

Yes belive it or not Testosterone can be derived from the fat of wild yam and soy plants. Now you can buy the 'natural products' but herbal remedies are not consistent. Also, hormone supplements you can get from any old shop are limited to a low concentration and have a different chemical structure from our biological hormones. So there shit.
What you have from your doc though is the same stuff but its collected & then altered in the laboratory to be the “Bio-Identical” form. The hormones have been so purified
there is no residue left from the plants. By “Bio-Identical” I mean the hormones are identical in chemical configuration to what is naturally in our body. The reason you have been told to put it on your wrist is only because for the topical solutions you need to apply to a soft skin area. Women with low testosterone are sometimes advised to rub these creams on the clits for fcuk sake so you ain't got nothing to worry about.

I think even those are made from Yams Dude. Check this excerpt from a site that sells those products;
'A. Natural Testosterone can be used safely in large doses by men who are deficient. Normal healthy doses present no health risks to men. Only if the levels of Testosterone metabolites, such as DHT or E2, rise above ideal physiologic range, can problems occur. These include baldness, prostate enlargement, shrinking of testicles, increased acne, and loss of sex drive with moodiness and emotionality.
Testosterone USP is a white odorless powder which dissolves in alcohol or organic solvents. It can penetrate intact skin if applied without a carrier agent, but only a small amount is absorbed. This form of Testosterone has been available since the 1940s. Bioidentical Testosterone can be made in the laboratory from saponins found in soybeans and yams. TestoCreme®, AndroGel ® and Androderm/Testoderm patches are made with micronized USP-T which has been finely ground to disperse evenly.
Women have been using Estrogen patches for 15 years. The hormones Estrogen and Testosterone are naturally derived from a food source, soybeans or a Mexican yams. They are bioidentical to that same hormone secreted by the testicles or the ovaries'

The dose I'm given is 150mg a day. How much of this will get absorbed through the skin?

The only way to be able to know would be for you to have your bloodwork done and see where your testosterone levels are.
