you dropped the test down to 250mg to increase libido????? doing that would effectively make your libido drop!!! probably by half!

To keep my libido FROM dropping.
7mg a week, is what the average male creates naturally.
With my having 250, I think I will be okay...
my 'facts' may be off though.

my current regiment consists of, Nizoral Shampoo twice a week...
and a regular shampoo that has not added oils to it. and conditioner on a regular basis... seems to be holding pretty well and no side-effects000..
I'm off cycle at the moment though.
Propecia will work fine also.. but there are side-effects, loss of libido, sometimes insomnia, higher estrogen levels.
At least in my case while off cycle Propecia would probably be overkill.

Nizoral Shampoo, does what for you?
And my shampoo is Selsen Blue (Shampoo & Conditioner) .. I'm not sure how effective it is.
I am also going to be running, pct, Arimidex and Nolva.
While also taking the Rogaine Extra Strength.
What do you think?
al;so-- were you LSOING your hair, and youre all well now?

Nizoral has a chemical inside it called Ketoconazole that helps prevent they synthesis of DHT in the scalp.
My hair loss accelerated when I did a cycle of TREN and TEST.. while also using ACCUTANE..
at that point i freaked, and started looking into hair re-growth products and the whole bologne.
I did a cycle after that of just TEST, while on Dutasteride (similiar to propecia, but stronger) and Nizoral for hair protection, and my hair is fine..
I'm off cycle now, and I dropped the Duta because of too much side-effects. I found my sleeping ability diminish greatly over time while on DUTA. I just could not stay asleep anymore while on it, which affected my peformance and mood. So I dropped that and now I just use a good clean shamoo and conditioner and nizoral. I had a shedding episode after I dropped that DUTA, that was expected and now everything has stabilized again.

Nizoral doesn't even promote itself for hair loss... just GREAT dandruff prevention.
I guess I should look into getting that then!
I don't want to prevent too much DHT, as that shuts off libido/sex drive.
But I wonder if I could run some PCT with it, to keep levels stable.
With Rogaine and Provillus at the same time...
I would still love to hear people's stories/success/failure with hair loss, during cycle, post cycle, and what they took... etc.Last edited by New2Anabolic; 01-24-2008 at 08:40 PM.

Nizoral will not "prevent too much DHT".

Hair loss benefits
Nizoral shampoo has shown to be beneficial in men suffering from androgenic alopecia. One 1998 study showed that Nizoral 2% worked just as well as minoxidil 2% (brand name Rogaine) in men with androgenic alopecia. Both medicines increased hair thickness and increased the number of anagen-phase hair follicles on the scalp. Researchers were guarded about the meaning of these results, saying that more rigorous studies on larger groups of men should be done to confirm the findings, both to evaluate the ideal dosage and formulation, and to assess the desirability of routine treatment in this condition.[12]
Results so far indicate that both the 1% and 2% dosages have positive hair loss benefits, however the more potent 2% formulation could have better results. Optimal usage is speculated at every third day, leaving the shampoo on the scalp for at least 3-5 minutes before rinsing. It has been stated that medications capable of maintaining the existing hair population should be regarded as effective treatments for androgenic alopecia. The present data suggests that ketoconazole should enter this group of drugs.[13]

Wow, that's great!
So I use that, with my already growing arsenal, and I think it stands the chance to really help!
Potentially...
(what with the lack-of-guaranteed-studies, 'n all)
Anymore info!? Experiences? I would love to read about them, and formulate some great options / solutions!

I have been prone to hair loss since early 20's. Not bad but thinning. Took propecia sine 19 for prevention and han't done a damn thing except slow the thinning down. Dutasteride now. Same difference in the real world application in my case. but I've heard great things...and not so great too. I also run nizoral 2% btw while 'on.'

"Except slow the thinning down". If you are genetically destined to lose your hair you should stay away from steroids . You are fighting a losing battle and juice will just make it happen faster.
Give up the juice or take matters into your own hands and shave your head.

I've ordered Nizoral, and I am dosing myself with Extra Strength Rogaine nightly.
Provillus should be showing up at my place shortly as well.
I don't think taking too much hair-loss prevention products would have a negative effect.
