Started my 1st cycle with Deca wrong. Corrective advise welcome.

I am 41, 6'4", 220lbs. I have worked out on and off over the years. My interest always wained because I never saw results to give me incentive. I recently worked with a trainer for 6+ months. No great gains. For the last month I started taking a topical Testosterone of 50mg daily. My former trainer suggested I start taking deca. He suggested 1000mg 2X week. I am now at end of week 2. I have experienced some gains, no side effects, and more motivated in the gym. I regret though that I relied on him and didn't do my own research. What I gained through research is that I am way overdosing. I should be using 400-600mg once per week and more and a different form of test and probably an estrogen blocker. So, my question is, I know I started wrong - going into week 3 what coorective changes should I make, taking into account that I currently do not possess injectable test or anti-estrogen compoinds? Constructive criticism is appreciated. Thanks.

yes 1000mgs/week of deca is way too much... i would grap some sust or some test prop, so you can get ur test levels up pretty fast... as it is right now it will take another 2 weeks for the deca to fully kick in, but i strongly suggest you find a source for some fast acting test such as a propinate ester or sustanon(which will kick in alot fast then single estered tests)... deca is known to destroy libido and will absolutly murder your sex drive, hense the need for exogenous test... also i would get over to the PCT forum and work on a good exit strategy for this cycle... oh yea, 500mgs/week of test would be ideal with about 500-600mgs/week of deca

Possibly, the person giving me the bad advise had some. It might be that I can buy it from him if not then - no. No to PCT. I know I've gotten off to a bad start. Thanks for not jumping down on me off the start.

Find some prop, and line out your pct, if you get both sorted you can still salvage this cycle. Good luck.

well lets just say that if you can't get it from ur jackass trainer or whoever you got the sauce from you could always get if from ARR(the red banner all the way at the top right of the page)... lion(AR sponser, ARR owner) sells research chemials such as nolva and clomid which would be used for a great PCT.... processing and shipping are fast, but please make sure you can get some test... if ur supplier from the gym can get you deca im sure he can most likey get you test(prop or sust)... just ask!... good luck

I think I can get test cyp. I know its not your reccomendation but is that better than nothing?

cyp is a long ester and would not be the best choice. better than nothing yes, but prop would be my first choice and sustanon would be my second.

You mentioned you had no PCT. I would order some today. You dont want to have issues with your order and be at the end of your cycle.

yes the cyp is better then nothin but not the best choice... if i were you and had to get the cyp i would front load my first week... do 1000mgs your first week of test injections then the next week drop it to 500mgs... this will help the test kick in quicker... and in reallity you are only 2 weeks in so if you get the test this week you can save this cycle...

In response to Juiced's question, my trainer is really not purposely out to get me. He is saying that their is no prob taking the higher does if my body is not reacting negatively.I would of course love to have some drive as that was one of the things I was looking forward to. If I can't get the test, what is the likely result if I drop baclk to the 600mg per week?

well first off ur not going to get increased sex drive from deca especially at such a high dose... test will give you incredable sex drive... get some test and ull feel like ur 17 years old again... test does amazing things... tell him you need the test... ur trainer is soo very wrong... and yes taking the deca alone will give you something call "deca-dick"... killing your libido and no sex for you my friend

even dropping to 600mg is ganna shut down ya natty system, and the body NEEDS test to function as a male...

Damm Bro that is a hell of a lot of deca, not sure how many cycles U have under UR belt but kinda sounds like this is UR first. My first cycle consisted of 500mgs test-e and 400mgs of deca. I think if U can add some test to that cycle U will be very happy and I'm pretty sure little willy will be to...lol. Yeah that is the concern with deca alone ( Deca Dick) and at that much deca Pamala Anderson could drop her knees in front of U and U still wouldn't get hard. Good luck

I took your/everyones advise and took care of getting stuff for my pct. No luck at this point aquiring test prop. That being the case should I stop the deca completely or cut it back to 400mg?

Thanks. Still working on the test prop. I didn't get a helpful response yet about what I should do if I can't get test. Should I just back down on the deca dose or stop completely. I do have the 50mg daily topical test. I know that is not the same. I currently don't have any neg side effects that I am aware of. Can still get wood. I've never had much of a sex drive in years.

Personally if I were in the same position I would stop if I couldn't get test. That being said, some guys intentionally run deca only cycles, everyone is affected differently.
