Thread: Irritation at Injection Site of Testosterone Cypionate

Post Irritation at Injection Site of Testosterone Cypionate

I am 27 and taking 200mg Testosterone Cypionate every week. This is for hypogonadism (low testosterone levels) but my doctor said I could increase my workouts and see some outward effects along with the expected internal effects.
    1. Is this dosage enough to really see any changes in muscle mass?
    2. I am about 50 lb. overweight, so if I want to gain muscle mass, I know I have to change my diet, but is there a way to do this without gaining massive fat?
    3. Most Important: Over the injection site I have notice large, rock hard bumps. (3 injections and 3 bumps) They are all itchy and uncomfortable. I have a call in to the doctor, but so far no response. I read that the bumps and itchiness were Common side effects, but I witheld any consultation until I injected my glute. I cant walk around scratching my butt all day.

    Thank in advance everybody.

First of all welcome to the board. Yes you will see big changes on that much Test a week if your work outs and Diet are in check. I would suggest you go on a cutting diet as you are very much overweight, have a look at this http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=75729 As for the bumps, what kind of needles are you using and where are you injecting it exactly ?

I use 23g 1 1/2" needls (becase there is so much distance to travel.) I have used my deltoid, glute and I forget the name of the muscle on the front of my thigh. The bumps have the same characteristics as an infection warm, itchy, and rock hard. The needles and syringes are sterile and the testosterone is clean and I use all aseptic techniques before each injection.

Front of the thigh is called the Qaudricep or quad for short. Take a look at this site for correct injection sites and techniques www.s p o t injections.com take out the spaces. See what the Dr says but if you start spiking a temperature then there is infection for sure.
