Abscess?

Has anyone ever experienced or been hit with an abscess?
If so, what happened? How was it treated?\

I ask because my shoulder feels like theres a bump in it. (the only place i shoot 2x a week = delts) and it's kind of sore to touch.

It could be scar tissue, I suppose. But I still wonder about abscesses.


Red = where you can kind of feel a 'bump' kind of --- Purple = usual pinning area)
- You can't see it
- You can also barely feel the inch x inch bump.. feels like a bruise sort of

if its an abcess it will feel hot ,be warn and red around the area....

not sure what it and its not near the injection site so am not sure.......

suprising that no one has any solid info on it.

or that no one has experienced it.



--> Also, I'm running on 120mcg of Clen daily for 3 weeks... so everywhere I touch is warm :|

It is tender though.. in that it feels like a bruised area (without a visible bruise)

im pretty sure its not an abscess..if you wanna know what an abscess looks like..google it and look at the images

Its not a abcess. It would be bigger, redder and look infected.

You would certainly know if it is an abscess.. there is no mistaken one of those suckers.. I had one off a bad batch of test last year and i knew right away something wasn't right and I ended up hospitalized for the next 10 days because my infection was MRSA ... some multi-resistant staph infection or something of that nature.. just about killed me for crying out loud.. so know what the heck you are putting in your body.. it really isn't something to mess around with. Not to mention the pain is intense.. the fever that accompanies it is relentless and if/when they drain that sucker ... talk about a horrible feeling.. ugh Never Again !!!

seems strange being that far apart from injection site. doubt its an abcess. have you tried massaging it and rubbing it. i know ive had gear trapped inbetween my muscle and skin before, i rubbed it for a day in hope to push it back into muscle...?

I've had one....in my quad for a week before I went to the doc, i was even trying to run on it(stupid). I think the abscess would be at the injection spot.....not lower like you described.
