Help with cholesterol and triglycerides

ok so i was about to start a cycle of test, not sure what type yet need to see what i can even get, when my doctor put me on a medicine called Accutane. It gets rid of basically every pimple on your body and its for people with pretty bad acne. Well because it can have alot of side effects, once a month i have to have bloodwork done to make sure everything in my body is still ok. Do any of you know if test will affect your cholesterol very much or change my triglycerides? because if it will alot then i probably dont need to take the cycle till i finish accutane. but if not then i would like to go ahead and start it for track season. any help would be greatly appreciated

haha thanks, I'm about 6' 4"/roughly 180lbs/best guess on bodyfat would be 9-10% i am pretty lean so it might be a little less. This would be my third cycle. First time took Sustanon 250 for 4 weeks then ran out and couldnt get more which really sucked. Then finished first of january with a 10 week cycle of deca durabolin and gained a ton of muscle. my bench went up 170lbs and then when i stopped the cycle i lost more than half of that because i was retarded and didnt know where to get any PCT

depends on your current levels..

most orals and most aas will give you a little bump.. mine went to 375 at it's highest, but i started at 325..

with vytorin i can get it to 225, which is still high..

there are many factors when it comes to cholesterol, such as are there any other risk factors, family history, high blood pressure, etc..

If you are really concerned about it, don't do any orals especially..

i've been trying to find you a thread on accutane that i saw, still can't find it....

o ok thanks, i've only taken injections and only plan on taking injections really so that should help me out some then. The reason i was worried tho is if they get too high they have to take me off the Accutane which means my acne will still be terrible. so if it starts getting bad while im on the Accutane i might just stop the cycle until they are done with blood tests

i think a couple years ago when they checked mine last i was around 135-160 i think but im not sure. tomorrow i will find out what it is right now and if its not too low then i will probably go ahead and cycle but if its sorta close to being high then i guess i will just have to wait

accutane is a great medicine for 95% of people. dry lips, nose, and skin are the most common side effects. Elevated triglycerides is the next most common. ABnormal liver finction tests and altered night vision can alos occur. You should never EVER EVER combine oral steroids and accutane!! as it exponentially and synergistically increases the liver toxicity of both compounds. Combining it with injectable steroids, while much safer than oral, still can really raise your cholesterol and triglycerides, so I still advise against it. The muscle aches and joint soreness are common if you exercise intensely while on accutane. best to take it easy for those 5 months...thus even more the reason you shouldn't combine accutane and any steroids.
