Beta blockers will have no effect on you cycle. I was on toprol xl for over a year. The only thing they do say about it in some people it makes it difficult to achieve a fast heart rate during cardio exercise

Wont be a problem...could suppress heart rate.
Can also cause stiffy to take a nose dive.
Did the doc put you on it chronically for acute anxiety? Oddd

I'm on 80mg inderal and use to take toprol back in the day for the same reason.

This is not as simple an answer as the dr. gave you.
First is the fact that AAS raises blood pressure and BB's (beta blockers) lower it.

So at face value it would seem like it doesn't matter.

But I'll put it this way and I have theories why but I'll just tell you what happened.

I cycled m1t back in the day when I was NOT on BB's and I could tell my BP was through the roof and I was naturally agitated and the whole nine.

The cycle I did with m1t ON BB's. It was day 4. I was sitting down doing nothing on the computer. I felt all the blood draining from my head, got extremely dizzy and lightheaded, and my heart started racing out of nowhere.
Any panic attack I've had in the past had that dizziness feeling & heart racing but at the same time it felt nothing like the normal panic attacks I use to have.
Not only that but I have triggers that ALWAYS provoke them and there were no triggers around.
It felt like a pure biological thing going on w/out any real panic you get from a panic attack. Like something between the m1t and BB's just wasn't mixing right.
I have theories what it could have been, but it would be just speculation and nothing more.

I'm also on double the dose you are so that may have played a role. But I personally believe it was the difference in half lives between the 2. The inderal wearing off just as the m1t was reaching peak plasma levels or the other way around.
W/e it was it scared me enough to completely stop the m1t because I felt more like I was about to die than me worrying about dying when deep down I know I most likely won't, which is what a real panic attack feels like. A bunch of irrational beliefs spiraling out of control. But my thoughts were completely rational with the m1t experience.

Just keep an eye out because I'm not a doctor and a doctor may say it "shouldnt" be a problem but they cant guarantee a damn thing because they're not you. G/luck!

Like everyone said, beta blockers like propanolol won't have any affect on AAS. Propanolol can be used for anxiety (usually for General anxiety disorder like public speaking) and hypertension, but if you have had panic attacks then propanolol wouldn't be the first choice. Usually they start with Buspar. If that doesn't work then they go to the Benzodiazepines like Ativan ect...

I had some issues with panic attacks and my doc also gave me Propanolol.Xanax and Lexapro.....but I only used the Propanolol for the first few weeks....and shorlty after that stopped the Xanax.....I have being takeing the Lexapro for over a year now....I usally lower my dosage during cycle becuase test just makes you feel great and the then bump it back up during PCT.....so you may want to wait until your panic is under control.

I was told Beta Blockers are to be avoided while on Clen or Albuterol. True?
