    Funny Gyno story (I guess)

I've had gyno under my left nip for almost a year. Not visible but painful at times. Last cycle was over 2 years ago and gyno started 6 or more months after ended cycle. Cycle was Prop/tren both at 100mg ED. OK here is the kinda funny part.

About 9 months ago my wife was in a car accident(no this isn't the funny part, assholes). So, she's seeing a doc for it. During one of her visits I tell him about my Gyno. He says, it probably is due to antacids. WTF. Pretty much blows me off. So a couple of weeks ago I schedule an appointment to get blood work for it. Everything comes back fine. Test and thyroid levels are fine. Ofcourse they are haven't been on cycle in 2 years. So he schedules me for a mamograhm. Here comes the funny.

I go to a Breast specialty clinic. I fill out all my paper work and wait to be called. Finally a nurse calls Mrs. ********(didn't think I'd give my real name did you?). So, my wife and I stand up and walk toward her. She says very hatefully, Mrs.******** ONLY. Before I can say I am Mr. ******* she says it again. Now i'm pissed and say Look at the first name, I'm the patient not her. She says, Oh! I start to follow her back and the nurse says you wife can come back if she wants. WTF? i just got yelled at and now this bitch is Ms. Bedside Manner.

I get back there and now the radiologist comes in. Looks at my wife and tells her to take her shirt and bra off, and put on a gown. Then she looks at me and says, I'm not allowed back there during the procedure. I say, I'm the one here for the P-R-O-C-E-D-U-R-E( In my best Ron White voice). i get another, Oh!

For those of you who have not had the privelage of this P-R-O-C-E-D-U-R-E, I will explain. Next she tells me to take my shirt off. I didn't get offered a gown. This big machine starts moving toward me. Then she grabs my titty(the sore one) and tries to smoosh it between a huge plastic vise. Making it look like a pancake. After manipulating my sore titty into various shapes with the vise, I'm finally done. I get to put back on my shirt, but my dignity is nowhere to be found.

Anyway, no cancer just gyno. Go to the Doc next week to find out what options are. So if You know someone who has had this P-R-O-C-E-D-U-R-E gie them a hug, I know I could have used one.

i had it done a month ago. It was hard to lie to them bc they got a lot of patients like me and they knew exactly why I was there.

U got gyno 6 months after a cycle? Damn, delayed gyno strikes again. I had a thread on this. None of us are safe

You mentioned you had it done a month ago. Are you referring to the actual gyno surgery? Cause I may be having mine done in a couple weeks. I'm just concerned if I'm going to the best doctor. Is it such a simple procedure that it wont matter which doc I go to? Or should I visit several docs before choosing one? I think I found a good one, but I noticed every consultation I go to they want you out just as fast as you got in. Thanks in advance.

Just to add to this. Antacid can give you gyno. I have been taking Omeprazole (Prilosec)for heartburn and it turns out that one of its side effects can be gynecomastia . Who would have thought?
And Lex is right, it's in the wrong forum.

Sorry, it was the mammogram I was referring to. I've been looking into surgery in case mine ever gets bad enough for it, and my research suggests that you do need to find a decent doc. Inexperienced ones may leave you with ugly scars, inverted nipples, breast asymmetry, or just a crappy ass job from an artistic POV. If you just need an excision I'd worry a little less about the risks, but if u r getting lipo too...spend the extra money and get the right man/woman for the job.

A lot of them know how to do it but their experience is with "dudes with boobs," who, let's be honest, will take almost any chest in place of double Ds.
