I entered "filter" and "sachet" into the search box and found a wealth of info. Here is one of the matches:
Can I squeeze a Sachet into a Vial

There is absolutely no need for you to use a 18g needle. It's too big; it will leave a large hole in the side of the sachet which oil can leak out of. There's also a much greater probability that you will tear through the other side of the sachet and lose gear that way, too.

I have drawn from sachets using a 23g and it only took me a minute or two, got just about every last drop, too. I even accidentally punctured the other side of the sachet once but the 23g is so small that hardly any fluid leaked out.

I wouldn't even use an 18g for filtering afterwards because they tear up rubber stoppers too bad. Use the next size smaller for filtering.

yeah 18g will be fine to use for transfur, but id go for something a bit smaller like a 21g to keep taking ya gear out of the vial once its in there to make sure the rubber plug doesn't get to ripped up.

Suck out of the sachet with the 18, add filter and new pin, inject into sterile vial.

    Simple.

dude im telling you my first satchet i used the 23g and it took about and hour and my hand was burning. plus i dont even think i got it all out. second satchet pulled it out with a 18g into a 25ml syringe. it took 10 minutes tops. then just pushed it into the vial. not sure what brand satchet you used but i did not filter and had no problems at all!!!

i used 25's, they're all i had and worked fine. you just have to warm the oil up to body temp. best way is to tape sachet to your fridge pierce the very bottom corner and suck away. after swabbing e'thing of course. that's the best way to get every last drop, i got 3.6ml out of 3 ml sachet the other day. i agree, shouldn't be any need to filter unless manufacturer specifies.

i just did this procedure on friday, used a 23g and transferred to sterile vial at 2.5ml a pop,the sachets actually contained more than the amount shown which was 5ml,more like 6 ml,didn't take me long, within 10 minutes i did 2 sachets,i chose to not use a filter, and as far as i can tell its all good.plus i love that little extra ml!

You're fixing to gain 15-20 pounds of muscle on cycle and you think this is too much trouble?

Nword, you really need to wait and order something smaller than 18g. No need to be in a rush.

bbminded, I was drawing out of a 3ml sachet and I had no problems with a 23g. It took it only 5-10 minutes. What kind of syringes are you using?

That's an interesting concept, jbonez. I might try that one.

I use 18G to pull from a sachet and then i swap to a 23g to put in the vial (adding a 25g vent)
Only issue is With the 18g i have actually cut a piece of the sachet ( a cut out) that got sucked into the vial.. oh well .. Ijust filtered it out

i think it depends who you get your sachets from. some people use thick oil and some do not. some sachets would need an 18g and some would be fine with a 21 or 23. if you get the thick sachets and you try and extract with a 23g you're gonna have one hell of a time

This seems like an appropriate thread to post this in...

I have never used sachets and being the sterile freak I am I would filter it....

BUT, how do you get all of the gear through the filter? would air in the syringe be enough to get the rest of the gear through the filter? or would you want some sterile oil to suck up then squeze into the filter which would push out the remaining product?
