Cabergoline Effects on Women's Sex Drive?

Will caber increase a woman's sex drive? My girlfriend who works out but does not take steriods , sex drive has decreased. She recently was prescribed some anxiety medicine that she proclaims has sucked out her sex drive. It is killing me because I am about 7 weeks into my cycle and I want it all the time. I have some caber at the house that I thought about letting her try some. Set me straight on this guys.

DHEA may help, I wouldnt waste the caber, but Im not positive.

I'd get her to bring it up with her doctor. They might be able to switch to another medication.

Yeah I told her that she needs to bring it up to her doctor but she keeps putting off making an appointment. Yeah I thought about waiting until she falls asleep but know one likes a dead *uck. Help me out with some more suggestions guess I am getting tired of this

Until she switches medication your options are limited. Most anti depressants or anxiety meds have an effect on sex drive though.

do you know of anyway to offset this loss in sex drive due to medication? I know she should be asking that question to her doctor, but is anyone on here well versed in this subject? Or has anyone else ran into a similiar situation?

My ex used to be on anti-depressants & it totally killed her sex drive. Ended up ruining us in the end because she couldn't even have sex even if she wanted.

It sucked..

I feel your pain dude. My girlfriend is on some medz too and wants it maybe once or twice a week and I want it everyday !!

Not sure of the name, I will find out. Before the medication she use to always want it and now I am doing good to get it twice a week. She complains that she just doesn't have the urge on the medicine. There has to be something to offset this.

She is taking Sertraline (Zoloft generic) and it is know for reduced libido. Any ideas on how to contradict this reduction of libido?

After researching I think I might get her to try some gingko biloba. It is suppose to help with libido.

I was curious as well if a anti-e would effect a females libido. My spouse got put on Wellbutrin and her sex drive went into the crapper. It seems the future of female desire is heading towards low level test type creams. I read a blurb in the newest MD that Univ of Virginia scientists were studying a test cream for women supposedly boosting there sexual desire by 300%. Its called LibiGel and sounds like its going thru FDA approval process. Unfortuantly the same article stated that a similiar product by Procter & Gamble was shot down by the FDA recently.

Trying taking it with Welbutrin XL and that should balance her out a bit. The dosage will be trial and error but don't give up until you get it right...trust me it will work!

Have her checked for Thyroid problems. Sometimes people with poor thyroid function can be mis diagnosed with depression / bi-polar disorder etc. Unfortunately the majority of anti-depressants kill sex drive.

I will have her mention that to her doctor, she goes today. Although the major reason she is taking anti-depressants is due to anxiety.
