acne and pantothenic acid

I've been reading a lot of success stories of people using pantothenic acid (vitamin b-5) to clear up bad acne problems. anybody have any experience with this? any known sides effects? dosages?

I am not sure if this is how it is intended, but when needed I will take about 20 pills per day the fist week or so and then taper it down.
10 in the morning and 10 afternoon.
No sides, acne goes away.
My friend does the same thing and actually told me to do this.
Sounds absurd but worked for us.

I have used it, just a couple pills a day, and it really worked for me. It can dry out your skin though so you might consider some kind of moisturizer.

Yeah Im taking it also as of today.
3 500mg tabs this morning and this thread has just reminded me to take another 3 now tonight.
My acne has gone nuts this week. Wasnt so bad all cycle but I did do an occasional sunbed which seriously helped clear up the spots. Havent done a bed in a while so maybe thats why its returned. Might do a bed tomorrow.
