And I'm looking to put on weight, I want to be 10-15 lbs heavier by the end of the summer, and my over all goal of 2 and a half years is a cut 215
I'm willing to work out 5 days a week and buy whatever food/protien drinks, whatever I need to to reach that goal
I am NOT looking to do steroids, yet, because as far as I know I need to condition my body first before I start touching that. So maybe in the last 6 months a year of lifting heavily I'll do a cycle or two, but not until then.
A little about me-
I've always been that skinny kid that could eat literally anything and not gain a pound without lifting
I'm athletic; I play basketball, football, and I snowboard.
I took up lifting for a class my sophomore year.
I lifted for 6 months, and in that 3 months I went from weighing 130 to 138
not much results
Whoever, in that 8 pounds I went from (maxing btw) benching 100 to 175, curling 40 to 70, dead lifting 320 to around 410?
Basically I put on jack for weight but I got a lot stronger and a lot more ripped
I was doing 3-5 reps of 2 sets with the highest weight possible, once a day. Obviously I wasn't doing the same exercises every day. I'd have one day where I did half my upper body, legs the next, the other half of my upper body the next, repeat.
Now the reason I'm telling you all that stuff is to give you an idea that I do know a little about lifting
I've been doing research, and what I can find from why I wasn't getting the weight results while I lifted was because-
I was young
I wasn't doing the right amount of reps/weight for weight gain, I was lifting for strength gains
I was not eating properly
So, what I'm asking from you guys, is the resources if not a plans themselves, for a good diet, and a good weight lifting plan for someone who's looking to put on weight.
So this would include a plan for eating for bulking and cutting, and a workout routine for bulking and cutting
It'll be much appreciated if you're generous enough to set me up with a plan, or at least point me in the right direction.
