    New potential user?

5' 10" 173lbs 36yrs. old. I haven't really lifted much since college but started again a few months ago. I know most of you guys are going to tell me to lift at least a year before I consider steroids . BUT, I have some unique circumstances. About 10 years ago I had a fall off a roof which left me with compression fractures on 3 discs. My back still hurts like hell all the time. My doctor said the best thing would actually be anabolic steroids but of course he won't prescribe them. I also have gout which if any of you have it you know it hurts like hell when it flares up which is often. The best thing for it is a steroid shot which my doctor will only do twice a year. Is there something that would help these problems as well as put muscle on?

I agree. I've had cortisone but never for gout allopurinol is what I'd recommend for gout that and get on the juice it will help with that back as well.

Yeah I think it is cortisone for the gout, allipurinol just doesn't always get it. The back doctor is the one who said anabolics would be best. I assume he is scared for liability reasons. You know, because of the bad rap anabolics have gotten.

Then obviously he isn't 100% sure on his diagnosis. (or 100% competent)

If you were talking about anti-ageing i would maybe see that as a semi valid excuse, but not for a medical reason.

    Thought of seeing another doc?

Sorry if I started this as an off topic medical thread. What I really want to know is what kind of gear should I use for the first cycle and could it maybe do double service to help the med problems. Whether or not it will help these problems is secondary to what I should use as a first time bulking cycle.
