    Question about BF

    Im thinking about doing my first cycle that would consist of test and deca for 12 weeks. I have seen many threads talk about BF...here is my situation. I was 272lb in 3/05 I got down to 182lb and Im 6ft. Since hitting the gym really hard on the weights Im up to 200. If I had to guess my BF is probably about 20 %??? Its hard to tell b/c of the weight I loss I dont know how much is fat and how much is skin that hasnt tighten up. Im 31. The test and deca cycle was recommend to me from a friend that has been body building for years and has done a hand full of cycles. I talked to him about me doing one and he felt that a small test and deca cycle for about 12 weeks would be good for me. I am wondering about the deca vs eq also. Am Im gonna look really bloated on deca? My diet is in quizi check. It could be better and I plan to be extremely stict during the cycle simply b/c I want the most of it. So back to my original question is should I work on getting my bf way down before I go on a cycle. I understand there are tons of variables that gage if someone is ready for a cycle but Im really curious about the bf factor. When you bust your ass for a few years to drop 90 lbs you want to make sure you never get that big again. I dont mind putting on the lbs as long as its lean muscle

    There are places you can have your body fat measured, you should do that to take the guesswork out and we can go from there. From the title of the thread I expected a ''boyfriend'' question lol.

    i am on a test ( sust250 ) and decca cycle. this is my first cycle and let me be the first to tell that it is way better to stick with a test only cycle for your first time...

    I am only continuing the decca because i have started it and from what i have read and learned i am already shut down.

    If i had to do this all over again it would be test e all the way... and i would plan the PCT at the sametime.

    whatever you decide dont make my mistake, think it through and get all you gear & PCT before you start anything...

    Diet should be second nature before anything it is the single most important part of trainning... i lost a ton of weight and BF% before i started, and some people still think I am high at 18%... I got all my diets from this site and it helped me a ton...

    Ok, I will try to get my bf measured. I guess what is ideal or should I say what is the max? Here is a typical day of eating for me.

    breakfast: 1 cup of egg whites / 1 cup of oats
    Mid morning: Whey shake maybe a granola bar or banana or MRP
    Lunch: Tuna fish, Turkey, chicken breast, fish, or steak. Most of the time with veggies or brown rice. Also some kind of fruit, maybe an apple or banana
    Afternoon: just about the same thing as mid morning Or MRP
    dinner:just about the same thing as lunch. I try to consume a very low amount of carbs at dinner. Try to go high meat and veggies.
    late night if im hungry..a scoop of when and a scoop of peanut butter mixed by the old trusty magic bullet.

    during the day I drink about 1-2 gallons of water. I may have one soda a week. Sometimes I have skim milk or OJ in the a.m when I take my vitamins and supplements. This is a typical day for me, even on work out days. I lift 5 days a week and cardio 2 days.

    On the note about deca it was also recommend due to sometimes when working the tri's (weighted dips) my elbow gives me some pain. I hear deca will take care of that pain.


    as far as PCT goes yes, I plan to have all gear and pct I need up front before I start anything. I have several other concerns but I will address those later.
