    Hi there:

    I am a new member from Sydney, Australia....

    I have been bodybuilding for quite some time for a few years, but I have just now started on anabolic steroids, specifically stacking Deca with Sustanon once a week.

    I started my first shot yesterday and I felt an ache in my arm as well as slight feverish symptoms (which did not last long). Is this common for a first time user? Is this what is commonly known as steroid fever?

    Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Here is a older post of mine about test flu ...

    Test flu is not caused by the flu virus. A rapid spike in testosterone levels especially in the case of using high doses of short estered compounds. They cause the body to treat all of this testosterone, ( or really whatever your using tren ,deca ) in the blood steam as a foreign body. Hence the flu like symptoms. And that in short is why it happens . I dont know any way to avoid it ...

    Thank you very much for the advice...

    I am experiencing some aching in my arm where my friend injected me 2 days ago. It is still aching now so that I cannot do weight training involving my arms. Is this normal for first time users like me and will this pain subside gradually when I am well into my 10 week cycle? I fear that if I experience this pain everytime I inject, it will put a hamper on my upper body exercises.

    Also, as I have only started on anabolic steroids for the first time 2 days ago, I obviously have not yet felt any increase in strength. When would I notice an increase in strength and tangible mass gains? Is it about 3 or 4 weeks into my cycle?

    Thank you in advance for any advice.

    welcome mate , im from sydney also

    i also did a sus & deca cycle. It will take 3-4 weeks untill they kick in.

    You might wnt to inject twice per week instead of once to take advantage of the test prop in sustanon.

    Also , do you have proper PCT ready ? its important you do so you can keep your gains and bring your bodys testosterone back to normal

    What do you mean by "stats"? Is it how much I weight or what? I'm 73 kg.....

    A friend of mine who knows his "stuff" told me to combine 1 ml of Sustanon with 1 ml of Deca per week....so I am mixing both of them together in the one shot.

    I am not a professional bodybuilder nor do I intend to be one in the future, so I am only using steroids for asthetic reasons. Based upon this, do you feel that I am taking the right dosage and combination?

    Another limiting factor is the expense behind this. "Juice" is quite expensive so I can only take it once a week.

    Thanks Bone Crusher....

    Since you are so knowlegable regarding this, I also wanted to ask you if I am paying the right price for my gear.....

    I am so new to this, it is hard to work out whether I am getting the right gear and at the right prices.

    he means stats as in your age , the amount of years you have been working out , weight , estimated bodyfat, diet , goal , and how much weight you lift for different exercises if you record those figures.

    Mate you should edit your post, you're not allowed to talk about prices on the open forum.. check out the rules of the board because theres a few other things you cant do aswell.

    I just edited my post.....didn't know about that rule.

    My stats:

    30 year old
    73 kgs (although before I worked out I weighed 50 kgs)
    158 cms tall
    Train 4 times per week....

    Spend 70% of my time training lower body....squatting (manually) 160 kgs (rock bottom).

    Though I have training intensely for 4 years, I have found that I have reached a "plateau". My legs are quite impressive for someone of my build, but I know that I will not get over this plateau unless I do something drastic....like starting on "juice". My main goal is to develop a more stockier body, although I am not interested in competing down the track or anything like that.

    What are your thoughts on the deca/sus cycle? Or would you recommend something better? I want to put on the most mass in the shortest amount of time.

    A sus & deca cycle is fine.. i added dbol to kick start my cycle untill the sustanon and deca kicked in.

    However in your case i think you should focus more on your diet and training than the actual compounds you choose. You still havent posted up your diet yet. You should be eating a lot of calories to put on mass . i personally choose my bodyweight in lbs x 18-21 for daily calories for bulking up

    You also mentioned you would like to put on mass .. but you also wrote you train 70% lower body. You're going to have to train upper body a lot more too if you want mass. You wrote you think you hit your plauteau with your body, but i think you can still grow since you are only training 30% upper body , and also only weighing 73kg

    I think my diet is fine as I am eating a lot of foods that are high in protein and carbohydrates. I am not putting any crap like KFC into my body. I am taking a lot of supplements like creatine, carbohydrate and protein powders....by the truck load, actually....

    Regarding my training, I know that I have not reached my true capacity for upper body. This is due in part to my fixation with my lower body. Being Asian and having a fast metabolism, I was not blessed with a solid lower body before I worked out. Because I have spent about 4 years training my thighs to to get them to the size now of 23 inches, I somewhat resisted training my upper body more than 30% because I wanted to look proportionate over all. A lot of guys tend to focus too much on their upper body at the expense of their lower body...hence the "chicken legs" effect...which looks crap, I think.

    However, now that I am on the juice, I want both my lower and upper body to grow together....hence I will be pouring a lot more effort into upper body training from now on.
