Aspirtating "too hard"
is it true that aspirating too hard can prevent blood from entering the syringe? Therefore making it unable to destinguish between muscle and vien?

ive never really heard that, but i could see how it would be true.. think of it as when you try to draw your gear up too fast.. its hard to get anything in the syringe.. seem that the same could be true when you asperate.

never heard that before. if the pin is in a vein and you pull up fast it should still draw up blood.

It could be true, but I do not think so. No matter how hard you pull, it is like a car taking off from a stopped position. It goes from zero to whatever over the course of a short period of time. To me, you would definitely would be able to pull enough blood through the needle to see it in the syringe as it is probably less than 1/10 of a drop.
I do not know why I am so positive about something I know absolutely nothing about, but I decided to write a book about it anyways.
LOL.

Yeah i only drew up blood one time, but when i did it was really easy to pull the plunger back. The blood is going to enter the pin reguardless of how hard or soft you pull. If u have ever gotten blood taken you can see how easy it is to actually pull blood from a vein
